You know what would be great?
The Lightweights:
Henry Armstrong, Benny Leonard, Roberto Duran, Joe Gans, Pernell Whitaker, Barney Ross
That's a loaded group, right there.

Others may argue, but I call 135 the deepest division of legends ever.

Heavies is easy for me
Johnson
Louis
Foreman
Ali
Holmes
Lewis
No one is going through that unbeaten that's for sure! It would be a never ending group stage, everyone tied on points!

Second heavy super six, the winner of the first one taking on the winner of the second one!
Frazier
Dempsey
Liston
Tyson
Sullivan
Holyfield
It's kill or be killed in the second one.

I know (I sure dont rate Jones among the top-6 LHW's ever), but if you could pick anyone, ever, upto six men, I cant believe anyone would choose those guys (and to a lesser extent, Ali), but to each their own, I guess.

Exciting competitive, or exciting ala Holyfield-Cooper?

I think Jeffries is big time competitive, especially late.
Baer might be more like Cooper, but I'd say Max does that more than once.

Srr means Sugar Ray Robinson? I don't think he would be too competitive at that weight class. I would replace him with Chavez Sr.

Robinson was still a young fighter when he weighed 140 or less. However, he did beat Angott and Zivic while under 140; so it's a safe bet that he would have been competitive with anyone.
For 175, I would go with Spinks, Charles,Moore, Tunney,Foster, and Langford.
At 147, Britton,Ross,Gavilan,Griffith,Napoles, and Hearns would be fun.

Yea You are probaly correct at 140 not being the best Robinson. I actually had Chavez on my original list but replaced him with Benitez. I think Benitez on his best day with proper training can hang with any fighter .@ 140 n 147
