Was it the same kid who was on the pads in the Peacock at the start of the Benn documentary?

Only ever seen him on the pads. What's his amateur record like or is he merely a pad exhibitionist?

Doing pads is one thing, the fast pitter patter means nothing to me, it worked for Floyd and now every kid wants to copy, it's like the Bronner situation, he copies Floyd so much it's just embarrassing, be yourself in boxing because all the greats where unique !

The Floyd pad work seems to be no more than a bit of fun for him and the watching crowd when he does it publicly.

The babyfaced burmantofts aba champ from this year Bateson beat him in a schools final a few year back then he seemed to slip off the radar? Get the feeling he's biding his time to turn pro?

Jack Bateson is now ranked no 6 in the world in the seniors!

So true. Thing is, even if that routine does work for floyd, I doubt it would work for many others. They r setting him up to fail cos training that way, he isn't being true to himself and discovering his own attributes. They r working on a routine they prob dont even fully understand the purpose of. His father seems a little bit of a pushy dad tbh. Living his dream thru his kid. Does any1 know if he's training any1 b4. Obv I'm only going on YouTube clips, they may do standard traing as well, but they def make a big deal of copying pbf. There is a good debate on YouTube where the dad debates with johnny eames about the effectiveness of this routine but fukked if I can paste it.

I do cringe when I hear the Brits repeating floyds patter in gyms, "hard work, dedication...." be yourselves.
