How do you go about becoming a pro trainer? do you need to have been a am coach? were do u apply ect? does criminal record affect it?

Affiliate yourself with a gym, learn your trade. Apply for a seconds licence with your Area Council and go on the Boards training course, that will allow you to work in a boxers corner (if you pass) even if its only handing up for the first year. When you have established yourself and are confident you know how to train pro boxers proficiently apply to the Board again for a trainer/seconds licence where you will be assessed again and if you are suitable you will be put forward to attend the Boards trainers course where you will learn about boxer related first aid, nutrition etc....

You don't have to have amateur experience but you can't just turn up out of the blue and decide your gonna be trainer. It's advantageous to associated to a good pro gym. Criminal convictions shouldn't matter as long as you have served whatever sentence/punishment was dished out. As long as your not still on licence it shouldn't affect your application
