the Reunion was held last saturday at the Newcasle Leagues Club,once again it was a great night,Charkey Ramon was our guest speaker, he proved very popular with the crowd that included Trevor King[life member]Ken Salisbury[excomm. title holder]Fred Wicks, Charlie Brown,Charlie Lucas was there with the McMahon boys[refs]Ted Little great battler from the 40,s & 50,s.John Mcdougal boxing historian, Brian Tink 400 fight amateur[olympic and comm]quite a few others from down south, we had 106 plus a few complimentary tickets,great food, great beer,great entertainment and great blokes,couldn,t get much better, but we will try,the final count for Bert Hornby, Charley Dunn, Stan Hayward,and Ken Stanford who were sadly lost to the sport in the last 12 months,was called by our chairman Billy Males,Treasurer Frank Narvo announced his retirement, he will be sadly missed as he held a tight rein on the purse strings, all the best
