Garcia's rematching Morales instead in October!!!!
What now for Khan?
Khan should fight Peterson and the winner should get a shot at garcia morales winner
No point moving up if he can't handle 140lbs, they hit too hard at welter at the talent is much better his got no chance
he needs to clear the peterson loss first then fight garcia

peterson is likely to be banned for taking peds. hasnt rios moved up to LWW, that would be a good fight?

Good shout Rios would be a Khan fight i'd watch and would be a way back
that would give him a little credibility.

With Arum & GBP constantly at loggerheads, I don't forecast Rios vs Khan ever.

why should Garcia give Khan a rematch it's not as if it was a close fight ?

And it's hardly like Amir would have given him one either.

Because I'm a massive khan fan, and if I managed him I would get garcia, Peterson and Prescott in that order to make his record perfect again

I think Khan needs to drop down a level and slowly rebuild and work his way back up again. His confidence must be shot to pieces. He needs more discipline sticking to a fight plan. He also needs to realise that he is not the superstar he thinks he is. He's been talking about Mayweather for so long he has clearly taken his eye off the ball.

No other reason for re-match other than the dollar! Yes khan was winning the fight up to the first knockdown but you could say that about so many fights in history where one big shot changes the fight, let alone one as dramatically as that left hook from garcia. Nice to see amir keeping his head down and getting some humility, flashing his watch around on the olympics coverage that is probably worth more than my house.

Don't really get why people are so against a Garcia Khan rematch but dont have a problem with a Garcia Morales rematch.... While Morales was game and took a few rounds off Garcia, he didn't really look like he could win that fight and he didn't show us anything that would suggest he could win a rematch.... Garcia Khan on the other hand did a 360 after one sweet left hook, before that shot Garcia had landed maybe 3 body shots and a right hand, his corner were clearly worried and that same left hook Garcia landed had missed the mark by a good 4' on more than one occasion before that. It was also a much more exciting fight than Garcia Morales, the only memorable moment of Garcia Morales was when Morales was clowning Garcia for missing with a few wide shots somewhere around the 8th...

I wouldn't mind a rematch but I think it'd be a mistake to take it now, without some serious adjustments to his style, if he's capable of doing it, that is.

I thought Garcia ran away with it and while Morales was competative I really don't think he showed anything in the first fight to suggest he could beat the yonger, fresher Garcia.... Khan did more damage to Garcia in 2 rounds that Morales did in 12. I'm not saying I have a problem with a Morales rematch, I just thought the Khan fight was much more exciting and I'd be less confident picking Garcia to beat Khan in a rematch than picking him to beat Morales.... I also am curious why noone has a problem with the Morales rematch but seem dead against the Khan rematch, surely we all agree the Khan fight was way more exciting, right?

How did Khan do any damage to Garcia? You mean by cutting him in a clash of heads?
Using that standard he 'chopped' up Barerra....with a headbutt.
