Yeah I watched that a few years ago Mimmy. He was a character a lol. Very hard fella, but also very funny (in a psychotic way), going by the documentary. Spent many years inside (Wakefield) then had a go at the pro boxing game when he came out after ten years. Liked a sherbert too -which f*cked his career. He could bang, but lost to John L Gardner. Full of one liners that bloke. I bought his book 'Sweet Agony' off Amazon for £40. Crap book though mate. His two sons are banged up for different murders as well. He ended up a alcoholic tramp. Did you know him Mimmy?

Before I got into boxing (I was 16 when I started watching the sport very seriusly) I heard about the Billy Collins Jr v Luis Resto story and noticed about a year back this documentary on youtube. Very good watch and some really shocking and interesting things that they found out.

Parts 2 and so on are in the right hand side bar next to the vid, I'm not gonna post every part in here, everyone should be able to find them.

Here's another good one I think. Very touching. One of the UK's best boxers never to win a World title I think.

Can anyone recall a documentary following a few English boxers...it was on around 2000/2001 and focused on (if memory serves me correct) Lee Swaby, Femi Fehintola and a couple of others. I think one might have been Shane Woollas?
I would like to watch it again if it's lurking on YouTube.

A few people say he "raped" a lot of fellas in nick. Heard that story a few times. Aside from being a seriouse hard- case psycho, I thought he was very funny in that documentary.

I was just about to mention the rape accusations, I knew nothing about this guy but purely going on the comments on the youtube video's there seems to be a lot of people saying the same thing! Yeah he definietly was a character going on that documentary! He never seemed to bloody stop talking though!

I soppose being banged up for all those years you'd probly end up pulling a few Ronnie Kray moves in there. I'm sure there's plenty of 'green house boys' about a? lol.

two of his sons are in prison for murder now right? One of them is called Michael Sharp and appeared on that strangeways prison documentary. Im assuming this article is about him having boiling water with sugar mixed in poured over his head?!

I doubt an old man would be much concern for a pyschotic 21year old from Salford. He has probably never heard of him.

Just ask UFC fighter "lighting"
Lee Murray Who's currently in prison in Morocco for 25 years, for the
50 million £ raid in Kent in 2006. Lee and his gang (who are all psychotic steroid freaks, and proven
MMA fighters) all got sliced up to bits outside a night club due to falling out with Adams.
They (
the Adams) used to rent their name out to other criminals & gangs because of the reputation and fear it commanded. As well as having out 'n out nutters and hard cases and corrupt politicans; coppers on the pay roll. Even the Jamaican crack dealers that lived in Islington
The Yardies worked for him. He also had hundreds of little scum bags just like that 21-year-old your talking about also working for him as well on the North London estates. All trying to impress him. He's worth (or was) over £250,000,000 mil. He didn't get there by chucking hot sugar in people's in faces in a cell or mugging 'ol ladys. You owed him money and you didn't pay ...lol
