Got to feel a bit for Kerry Hope here. He beat Proska to win the EBU title, but had to defend against the Pole. The minute Proska wins the rematch he gets an immediate title fight.

He is, but I think Proska can give him a decent fight. I don't expect Proska to win but I think he will be game and give Golovkin plenty to think about with his constant pressure and spiteful punching. It has the makings of a very good fight and i'll be very much looking forward to this one.

My favourite fight in the calendar at present. Hope sky show it.

Golovkin is very good but Ouma gave him trouble from a southpaw stance for 3 rounds or so and that was a very faded Ouma, Proksa is a level or two above what the
"Dream" was then and if Ouma can hit GGG then Proksa will as well. When this was first announced I thought Golovkin would win and still do, however, I can see Proksa
giving him fits for a while in this fight and would not rule him out totally.

What's up with Golovkin being put in with someone who has a pulse?

His management are awful, he's got ridiculous ability yet keeps being fed chumps.

Could be close for 3 or 4 rounds, for me though once Golovkin finds his range and timing his awesome !

Are you saying you would like to have seen hope fight golovkin?

on the other hand, it's good to see proksa's career finally moving forward. seems like he's always been on the backburner, on the undercards, etc.

thisw could be a really tough fight. golovkin has to be favoured, but he can be hit easily by a southpaw.

Simples: Proska's best win is Sylvester, which gained him his world ranking; he lost to Hope, defeated Hope in a rematch so is back where he was. Had Hope defeated Proska again, then he would have had two wins of note & be looking to move upwards.

Or did you feel sorry for Hasim Rahman, after Lewis won the rematch & then immediately fought Tyson for eleventy-billion quid?
