Yes, two losses on the spin.

Sure Peterson was controversial and perhaps can be thrown out - but the loss to Garcia wasn't even close.

Whereas Burns has defended his belt in style. Albeit against less stern opposition.

I considered dropping Khan below Burns, but I thought I'd wait for Burns to win his next fight before he overtook Khan. If Burns beats Mitchell then he will be very likely to move ahead of Khan.

Khan has been fighting better opposition than Burns, so I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt for now.

I'd have Afolabi above Cleverly. Hope he fights in the UK soon.

I would have Brook above Nathan too.

Quigg falling off the list for drawing with a guy ranked 13th on your list strikes me as a tad harsh.
Also wouldn't have McDonnell as high as 9th

Khan has lost two in a row, but I think it is too early to say that he is on his way down.

If he has learned the lessons from his two recent defeats then he will probably be a world champion again within the next 9 months.

When Mitchell beats burns will they swap places ?

Khan was trying to unify the belts of his division and win the Ring title.

Burns isn't at that level yet, so I am giving the benefit of the doubt to the more ambitious fighter.

That would be a reasonable place to rank him.

I think Brook, Cleverly and Afolabi are all at about the same level at the moment.

Cleverly has done less recently than either Brook or Afolabi, but I still think his record is good enough to hang on to 5th spot for now.

Quigg vs Munroe was more of a no contest than a draw. I didn't think I could move him up the rankings based on that fight.

McDonnell was a solid European champion, reigning for two years, and he beat the best domestic contender in Stuart Hall.

Macklin has lost his last two fights (albeit against the top 2 ranked fighters at middleweight), so I think McDonnell being above him is okay. Groves, Rees and Fury may have done a bit more than McDonnell in the last 18 months, but it is debatable and McDonnell had a better 2010 than those three, so I have him rated a bit higher.

Probably not, I don't think Burns will be dropping as low as 15th if he loses.

Macklin has fought at world level and done well. Groves hasn't reached that level yet, so I think Macklin deserves a top 10 place more than Groves at the moment.

If Macklin loses to Alcine in September then he will most likely drop out of the top 10.
