Selby didn't, and I can't believe how dominant evans was in 1st compared to rest of fight.
Did he think it was too easy and lay off before struggling to up his game again? Or did the canadian figure him out?
Selby came up against a future great imo. Much point Selby going pro...? Have to go up in weight to make it worth while you'd think.

Selby shouldn't go pro. He would be in the Super Fly division, which is the weakest in the Britain and would have to go up to Bantam to get some decent fights.

What's plan B, stay amateur with a young fighter who looks like he could be a future great. Rock and hard place. I agree though nothing in uk for him pro.
Depends if he wants money or recognition.

That Canadian must have been a genius to have figured him out after such a one-sided first round. He went from looking amazing to really lazy. I can't remember anyone dropping off so much from one round to the next; he can consider himself lucky to be through. I couldn't believe it when he was standing doing nothing in the last minute.
Another close one but glad he made it...a lesson learned one hopes!

He did amongst a whole loads of other clubs. Think it was Rovers I mainly remembered him from - hardly prolific, so I think it was more the name that stuck out
