I would love vasyl lomachenko to win it for two Olympics in a row which I'm not sure but think it might not of been done before, but I have a feeling it might go to the young Cuban "Ramirez" at 52kg, stylish is his middle name !
Who chooses who it goes to, is it the aiba officials ?

Serik Sapiyev from Kazakhstan won. The Welter who beat Evans for gold.

I would've picked Ramirez.

I don't see how Lomachenko deserved it more than Ramirez or Sapyiev, so I'm glad he wasn't chosen; I thought he might have been due to his relative superstardom.

Vasyl won the final by 10 points ! He still had another two gears left, he might not of been the most stylish boxer this time round but he is IMO the best !

I think the winner should be chosen based on what they did, not what they might've been able to do.
Sapiyev faced slightly better opposition and won his bouts more convincingly, while Ramirez had more bouts, fought tougher opponents overall, and was always impressive. Lomachenko may be the best amateur boxer in the world, but not based on his performance at these games.
