i wasent present for that fight , but yes from what i heard it was close but Butcher did edge it with the cleaner landing punches . His opponent takes on belfast's Luke Wilton this weekend, so it will interesting to see how he comes through that fight and how Butcher deals with him

I don't know how that works. He retired in his corner between rounds so I don't think he gets the 30 day suspension.

Badger is out mate, Automatic 28 suspension for a retiral/stoppage plus a dislocated finger in right hand and broken bone on left.
I'm looking around for possables for 5th fight.

What does cryptic mean? I was only saying I would fight as kris wasn't fighting! Just a fight u know but I was told I had to sell so many tickets pmsl... I never really got the whole thing... A journeyman sells no tickets ;) it costs a lot money for hotel and flight or such for to bring up :p I would sell tickets fighting any ur prospects at my weight... Paul Graham been asking who would win out Ronnie and ???? And answer was 'honestly? Ronnie will knock him clean out' then the fight that was proposed was then a no go ;)

I'm no rocket science but in pretty sure Ronnie has a winning record.. Or maybe I'm reading it wrong ha. You could ask anyone who's tried to get Ronnie fights Billy Nelson or Tony Lindie people point blank avoid the fight. Always an excuse or offers to fight 10-14 lbs above his weight then they fight next fight at that weight... Surely if he waffles a lot of crap( I'm not disputing that fact) why don't the prospect guys put one of your superstars in against him.. Kris Hughes??? Mitch Prince???

If there are any fights to be made then they will be made in due course, i dont do matchmaking David, but your brother really does seem to want to make himself some sort of James Degale character of Scotland -were he will talk and write to the point were folk cant be botherd with him !

It's simple he wants fights, he tried being quiet no one will fight him. He's tried challenging people no one will fight him... He thinks he is the best Superfeather in the uk. I think he is also. There is some good matches there at uk level but people don't seem to want to fight... Ronnie is an exciting fighter lots of power and he comes forward.. Ronnie will fight anyone as he keeps saying how is that being like degale. Boxing isn't a sport anymore it's turning into more money making and protecting prospects so many padded records

David, no offence mate av said from the minute I saw Ronnie that he was decent, very decent infact, if you check previous Threads I have backed him up but did you just say he is the best SuperFeather in the UK? So he's better than Gary Buckland? John Simpson? Steven Smith? Liam Wals? Steven Foster? Martin Lyndsay? How can you come out with a statement like that when Ronnie has only boxed 2 meaningful fights? I just don't get how yous think he's the best in the UK when he's never actually been in with anyone near the top ten. Tell me HOW he beats every one of the guys I mentioned above? He would maybe beat some of them who knows but how can you say he's the best in the UK? Am sorry mate but that's just crazy. But as I have said before, Ronnie will be mixing it with these guys because he's good but he's not there yet.

I think he needs 2-3 more fights before I could definitely say he could beat Gary Buckland.. John Simpson I think Ronnie would be too strong for and would win Ronnie is a mean body puncher.. Liam Walsh would be toe to toe again I believe he would win that one. Steven Smith (I've not seen enough of). Martin Lindsay I believe Ronnie would walk through his punches. That's my opinion on those guys. Ronnie has never been rocked in however many kickboxing and boxing fights he has had. Ronnie is with the completely wrong management team if he's allowed to believe that.

Ronnie is what? 26, 27? Still a good three-to-four years of developing in my eyes.

Best thing for Ronnie to do in my eyes, is cut out all ludicrous posts on the internet, keep developing his career with progressive fights and try and arrange sparring of a decent level with some of the better guys at his weight and above and the fights will come.
