Great news. Really like Jamie McDonnell from what I've seen in the past, and had been waiting for him to fight again.

Is this a one fight deal to be on a matchroom show, or something longer term?

not sure what the deal is yet as i only train Jamie but would imagine they will at least have options over him
i hope its a promotion contract tho jamies not too sure yet what it is untill he sits down with his management team..

Malinga is a tidy boxer, he got blown away by Hasegawa but had shown in his previous fight that he can win away from home.
If Jamie is going to move on and win a world title he needs to beat Malinga handily, something he is well capable of doing, i'd go for a stoppage in 10
