Does anyone know why Jason Booth gave up his title?

The Commonwealth flyweight title he relinquished.
His opponent on Saturday week, Dale Robinson, subsequently picked up the vacant crown.

yeah, thats probably why. They may be swapping over again if Dale beats him.

Booth gave up the belt several months before winning the IBO title (and before the fight was even mooted; indeed, Dale Robinson was due to challenge Ntnotela for the IBO title before Booth, but a brain scan hitch scuppered that).
I'm trying to establish whether Booth gave up the Commonwealth belt to avoid an earlier showdown with Robinson (not that Booth has ever avoided anyone).

off course he did. he's been forced to fight robinson by gilmour imo. booth knows he cant beat him, but its robinson or a top35 in the world rated super fly?

could be like the Moore-Williams case. Ringside sharing the belts around, which is wrong really.
