on paper what are the best wins for british boxers, im sure the old timers could add a few but i will start off with the obvious ones- turpin v robinson, honeygahn v curry, laing v duran.

not in the same league but still worthy of a mention lewis v ruddock, benn v mclellan, hatton v tzsu, mcauley v matlala, froch v bute, froch v taylor.

That was not such a big deal at the time. Matlala didn't make his name at the highest level until a few years later.

The great Bob Fitzsimmons win over heavyweight world champion James J. Corbett got to be tops. I think it is the greatest win in British boxing history.
