Whaaaaa! PABA title....great stuff mate. What's wrong with Charlie Lucas? He supervised Dawson's fight in Perth.
Maybe it's cheaper to fly you to Sydney & put you up in a 5* hotel for a couple of nights, than Lucas driving to the venue?

This will be a good fight. I think Piper has the work rate to give Ben trouble, but Ben has the power to get his respect.

Bens first real test as a pro and he hasnt gone past more than 6 rounds in his 10 fights will be interesting should be very entertaining fight as pipers relentless pressure rugged style , will be in bens face all night.. If Ben stays long uses his jab and reach and lets his big right hand go he shouldnt have any problem beating piper by points UD.

Omar Shiak schooled Piper, that was his biggest test, and the beat down he gave Flanagan was so impressive.

I agree les piper is a different fighter over 10/12 rounds. If ben can get his respect early with his power. Then push piper back he should win. Piper not as effective off the back foot. Be interested to see how ben handles his first 12 rounder. On a side note this is the best card we've had in Sydney for a while. James Beard V Renald Quillon will be a cracker. Real 50-50 fight. Tony Bates stepping up. Nearly every fight looks 50/50 on paper I can't wait!!

I agree Dan, they've done a good job matching these fights, there are some very good, but non - household names in there, but they are good fighters, who will make a good fight, I am keen to see Tony Bates for the first time, heard lots about him, also Beard v Quinlan will be close hard fight, both undefeated and both look to have some bite in their blows.

Also, keen to see Rob Whaley vs. Adrian Campbell, Rob's move to Welter will certainly help his cause, he struggled to make the Super Lightweight limit in his last couple fights, so 10 stone 7 or the 147 pounds, will suit him better, and we may see him successful again, great kid with good skills, this will be a tough slug-fest as well, Cos Adrian loves a brawl as well, interesting fight.

The fight between Les and Ben will also be a cracker, it is not a forgone conclusion as to who wins, Yes Ben has the greater power, but Les has the experience, and the nous, also it's Ben's first big step, but one i think he will handle, it will depend whether he handles the occasion or not, Les is always fit and loves a fight, he will try and take Ben into some deeper water and see what happens from there, this a damn good fight, I am really looking forward to the event.

Cheers, hope to see you there Dan

Great night of boxing full credit to George Reno well done on a good turn out and some good fights.. James Beard boxed well against the late replacement and always willing Kashif mumtaz was totally outclassed beard caught him with some sharp counter punching and stopped him in the 4th. Kurt fought ok against maxwell who was always going to be a victim with a record of 0-7-0 Kurt controlled all 4 rounds to win easy UD points Win. Rob Whaley didn't look himself against the always tough Adrian Campbell , who looked allot bigger and stronger he keept rob at the end of his stiff long jab rob didn't look like he could get his momentum in the fight loosing UD points to Campbell .. The shotgun looked great against the Thai import totally dominating from start to finish wining tko , Ben the Juicer gret performance as he dropped piper in the 2nd with huge over right hand and it seemed to be all over but piper is tough as they come and survived until getting dropped another two times during the fight with the end coming in the 10th huge right hand that sent piper flat on his face out cold.. Well done to Benny he looked very very sharp
