These two were champs at the same time. Both fought Lopez multiple times, but they never got it on. Mitchell on points for me.

The battle of the 'taches. I think Brian'd do it (quite dull but a superb technician), but I'd be willing John-John on-on. I always liked him (dunno why, nice style I suppose, that Puerto Rican fluidity to the combinations). I liked Rosario more, but I liked Molina, too.

I have a feeling we're of a similar vintage, Rover.

Molina could box beautifully when he wanted to, while Mitchell was very crafty, durable, and just plain knew how to win. I could see Mitchell probably winning by an SD.

Two quality fighters here.....If they fought 10 times we would have 10 close fights most likely. I'd say if I had to bet I would go with Mitchell by close Dec..... With that said, Molina certainly faced better competition overall, in his career and Molina likely would be the best Mitchell ever faced (or one of them for sure).

Molina "faced" better comp in DLH and Mosley, but he didn't beat better comp. The best opponent both faced and beat was Lopez.
