Even sadder after reading this - he was friendly with his attackers and had been out drinking with them. All over a bloody taxi, just senseless:

Yes, was just reading about him on the other thread, I remember him now. Extremely aggressive guy who quite frequently made violent threats.

Not sure I would contemplate hitting a mate with a pickaxe handle, amongst other things, no matter how drunk I was nor how much I believed in people waiting outside for taxis.

Mate, someone dying over something as utterly trivial as a drunken argument over a taxi is senseless by any proper definition of the word.

I know what you mean.But I tend to think with the protagonists involved, their mutual demeanours etc, it was only a matter of time and it was always going to be something like this...as drink is usually involved....

But I take your point and apologise for any offence caused

No worries mate, completely understand where you're coming from.

Only sad part of this is that the other brother did'nt get time has well ,, then we would of had 3 thugs off the streets instead of two
