At least when can't acuse him of taking on soft opponants... like few have been but rememeber Chisora, that Brazilian guy, Rich Power, Pajeik were all unbeaten. Chag is miles ahead of Fraudley!

Can't wait to see 'Ruslan Chagaev' metamorphosise into Brian Minto.

A fight Fury will win,but not get credit for. Fury is doing what England do before a World Cup and play teams that match styles in their group. There's no rush, but this fight makes sense, Chagaev is in Limbo at the mo.

If Fury fights and beats Chagaev and Chagaev comes in under 238lbs then I will give him full credit.

Has Chagaev shaken off his hepatitis yet? He has looked awful for years. Even so, Mike Mollo is probably a more realistic, Hennessy style Fury opponent.

Is it even unofficial yet? The only thing I've heard is internet rumours.

I thought Chag had already said this fight was no go at the minute. He said for a fight with Fury he would need a proper team around him and a training camp in place, neither of which he has presently. He fought some journeyman recently and said he didn't mind taking on a fight like that without a team as it needed very little preparation. It appears Chag rates Fury and wants to be in a postion to win rather than just pick up a cheque. I expect the fight to happen, but won't be Fury's next fight. Expect a Skelton or Airich type guy next.

Heavyweight is a thin, sad, dismal wasteland. I'm not saying Fury is great but the options for him and any other rising heavyweight really are limited.

Not half...think of this though, if we had four seperate world heavyweight champions, imagine the clowns that would be challenging for a portion. It would make Manuel Charr look like a legitimate contender.

People who I'm sure would fight Fury - Adamek, Solis, Franklin Lawrence, Arreola, Eddie Chambers, Stiverne, Ustinov, Mike Perez, Kevin Johnson, Sosnowski, Travis Walker....all men who would throw some back and know more about fighting than the Brian Minto, Vinnie Maddalone types, 40 year old clubfighters with padded records and weight lifter physiques that Channel 5 bosses seem to lap up.

according to his trainers twitter chagaev has turned the fight down, another bum for fury then i guess.

Well it's not Fury's fault if Chagaev has turned him down. Anyway, ignore that minor issue...what about the proposed undercard.

There's plenty out there for Fury. If Chagaev doesn't want it how about someone of the Fast Eddie Chambers ilk?

I have a feeling he will be boxing Albert Sosnowski , and having seen how he did in prizefighter i think his best days are long gone , Would be fury in 3 rounds .

Especially with his British connections and huge number of wins it will be someone like him.
