Nunn. The man never came across as a genius, but 'Second to' Nunn is just the greatest nick-name ever. He should have saved some of that inspiration for his career. :)

Light Middleweight Travis Simms has a brother who also boxes called Tarvis, when he used to come out they announced his alias as "Brother Of Tarvis", not exactly a fear inducing nickname for the opponent is it?!

few old timers make me smile...
tony galento who fought joe louis way back was never reknowned for his althletic prowess hence "two ton tony" mind u although he got beat after a ko in round four he did floor joe. but not before telling louis during the referees instructions that he was going to "fornicate your wife"!!
maxie rosenbloom apparently could never fire off a hard punch hence the fact he was known as "slapsie maxie"
and there was a britich champion who was so easy to knock out he was known as "phainting" phil scott

Never really down with the "SWEET PEA" whitiker!

I always loved the combined reference to his sweet boxing style and the Popeye cartoons in that.
