If it is true that Hatton is making a comeback who wants to see this fight happen at last.

If Ricky wants to come back and can get to the weight there is no other boxer in Europe that he would make as much against; if he still hates Witter so much that he begrudges him a payday then he ought to see a shrink.

It is the most exciting fight for his comeback that I can think of.
The bragging rights, the loser finding it difficult to live down, there would be a lot at stake. Which would make it the best fight for his return.

Not at all, Witter is finished and with all due respect to a quality operator in his day, he is now a British/European gatekeeper. Khan, Brook or one of the Americans is the only option. If he wants the big money like before then he'll have to earn it. If it's to push his promotional outfit then i'm out

Witter is a much better opponent than Brook. And what Americans are you talking about?

Hatton doesn't have to earn anything, he is a huge name and his comeback fight will be big business.

Sure, why not. I've never cared that much about this fight, but if it shuts Witter up then it gets my vote.
As long as everyone knows, in advance, that any fight involving Witter is going to be 12 rounds of pure, undiluted shite. Which is probably why it won't happen. If Hatton makes a comeback, he will want it to be memorable.

Witter
WAS a much better opponent than Brook. And what Americans are you talking about?

In days gone by Witter was the better proven fighter. These days then Brook presents the tougher option. The Americans i mean are the likes of Bradley, Alexander, hell even Malignaggi.
Perhaps that's the case but i'm one person who went to watch him a lot but won't be overly fussed

Far too late to bother. You may as well ask if we want to see Leonard v Hagler 2.

Fuck! One fight where he struggled to get the win and all of the sudden he is a worse opponent than boring old Witter.
This fight has missed the boat, I've no interest in seeing it
Hatton can fight anyone he likes, it'll still draw in the viewers

I don't want to see Junior Witless in any fight, ever. He was awful in his day, had a brief paper champion reign and has been on a losing streak ever since.

I don't think this fight is particularly relevant any more. It only was relevant when both were World Champions, and you could've had an all-British unification match. I'd have been interested to see it.
Realistically though, Hatton was a much bigger name than Witter. He managed to secure fights with Floyd and with Pac, whilst creating international interest. Something Witter could never do. The only intriguing thing about this fight now, is whether after several years of getting drunk and eating burgers, would Hatton have enough to beat Witter. But even so, that would be true if Hatton fought anybody.
I just think Witter isn't quite as good as he thinks he is, or as big a draw. If he beats a past-it Hatton, it almost dignifies the ridiculous claims that Hatton wasn't good enough to beat him. Which would be annoying.

It's pointless now, they're both way past their best, so it proves feck all
The time has most certainly gone

Stick him in there with any can and he'll sell out the MEN arena. Witter was never a draw in his prime and is even less so now.
