Question re: JCC Jr.'s weight

I see JCC Jr. gets a lot of stick on here, and it is mentioned in a lot of news articles, about his fight night weight. It's as if he's doing something wrong or breaking rules.
If he weighs in correctly then surely that means he isn't breaking any rules. If he's physically, and safely, able to rehydrate to a higher weight than his opponents after the weigh-in then surely he is going to take that perfectly legitimate advantage. And as long as he's safely boiling down to the weight for the weigh-in then I don't see the problem. If he wasn't then that would only be to his detriment.
Thoughts?

google 'Chavez Jr' and 'diuretics' (add 'tested positive' in there if you want) and get back to us on how 'legitimate' his advantage is.

I think there's a big question mark over how he is able to cut weight so effectively, especially considering his aversion to pissing in a cup...

if by 'big question mark' you mean 'we all know he's probably been cheating', well, yeah....

I agree, though there has been the issue in the past about his "lost" 30 day weigh in results for the WBC. Don Jose must have "accidentally" filed them in the wrong place!

Fair enough re: that fight. Well if he's big on fight night again we'll have to assume he would've been through rigorous testing and that it'll all be above board. We'll see.

Okay, so Nevada will let him slide will they after already banning him, okay. I think your clear impartiality on this topic renders all discussion a bit meaningless.

you used the phrase 'above board' w/r/t the WBC, if you don't find that funny and/or ironic, good luck to you.
