Talk of this fight for Dundee in November for Scottish Super Featherweight Títle. Will be a good fight and fair play to savage jr for taking the fight. Too many people not willing to take a risk and prefer to e fighting journeymen every fight. Prospects need to fight prospects:d

Ronnie mainly fought at lightweight to get fights. Isn't savage jar holding the Scottish title at that weight . Good to see them willing to test themselves though. Dundee will be bigger and better this time. Hope Craig mcewen on bill again as he's a class act . Maybe against someone who can test him. Kris Carslaw be a good one:)

Savage jr is still the 9st 4 Scottish champ at the moment I believe. He beat James Ancliff for the title but has really struggled in 2 fights against Dougie 'The Bullet' Curran (loss and a draw). I remember seeing him poleaxe Billy Bell years ago thinking he looked pretty good.

I know Ronnie is targeting this title. He's a proud Scot and wants the Scottish title. The fight is agreed I believe let's hope it happens. This is the first step on his way to the British title. Can't wait not long before boxing becomes a regular in Dundee

Who is the other! He's the guy looking for that Scottish Title. From what I hear the fights agreed.. Ronnie is undefeated both want the title that's why they should fight... All this avoiding each other in boxing is silly.. What's in it for him!!!

theirs knocking top kids out and theirs stopping journeymen or international opponents. fair play u building a record but the level of fighters ay top kids, (wins 25 losses 150 your ops combined records). looking at both of u from a neutral point u should win this fight u got a big weight advantage your lowest 9st8 his highest 9st2 he only has 2 stoppage wins against smaller guys id expect u to stop him late on over 10 rounds

Yeah I agree but i can only fight who is put in front of me ;) My manager/promoter is just a small name and don't have the say of the bigger names, but he tries!!! I was meant to be fighting Mickey Coveney but that never happened :( I been offered Craig Evans but that never happened for whatever reason they never wanted the fight!!! I was offered Kirk Goodings but that never happened for whatever reason they never wanted the fight either ;) My last fight i weighed in at 9st7.2 against al hamidi and on boxrec they got we both weighed in at 9st9 well actually its all not true because all hamidi was way over 9st9!!! very crude sport :P But hey as i say i will fight anyone its not a debating game!!! I look forward to getting back in the ring ;)
P.S Maley u show good knowledge of boxing!!! :)

I think if you want to look into Ronnie's record, you have to mention that he's fought Edwards & Hughes both whom had positives records. Savage holds a title, but's yet to fought anyone with a positive record.
I would've personally liked to have seen Ronnie establish himself more at the weight, probably working himself up to comfortably turning in performances over the 10x3s format before fighting for any title, but as he say's fights are hard to come by when you've got a lesser known manager who doesn't have the right liaison with matchmakers to have his top prospects fighting regularly.
I think Ronnie will win this with a stoppage in the late rounds, but as said previously, would've definitely liked to have seen him establish himself over the 10x3s format before obtaining any belt.

This fight will never take place. Unless Ronnies manager, puts it on & comes up with a good wage for it. Cause i no for sure Tommy wont shell out for it, n is Ronnies manager willing to do that????

Fight has been confirmed waiting on a date! Tommy confirmed the fight! It's just will Davey take the fight?! I believe he wants the fight! ;) it's meant to be on at the end of November @ Dundee Ice Arena... This kinda fight is what boxing needs!
P.S I know kickboxing is not boxing but I have been at the highest level fighting 12 rounds world class kickboxing all over the world so I am confident 10 rounds will not be a problem... I appreciate what people are saying though about the more rounds just wish I could get the fights!!!

All the best for the fight Ronnie, wouldn't mind making the trip down for this one if the card is anything like the previous one at the Ice Arena.
Just out of interest, who else does Tony have on his books?

Nope, Tommy not agreed to enything. As iv spoke 2 him. Said it has been spoke aboot, but the £ not up2 the mark for him. He's looking for a better price for his man & the champion at that. You'l need to dig abit deeper in those pockets, or ur manager will.

Surely this isn't serious.. This is why people are starting to get put off boxing everyone wants easy fights or more money.. This is just like an area title I'm sure he will get paid accordingly... I don't get all this we were always told look after the penny's and the pounds will look after themselves.. Maybe people should stop worrying about the money and more about fighting after all that's what they do

Interesting this,
How much do you think the likes of that last Dundee show cost to put on?
Limond, McEwan, Windsor Jr.. Wouldn't have thought it would be that cheap.

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be getting shafted.. How much is fair for an area title?
