Walsall’s Martin Gethin has gone back to his roots to help him prepare for his world-ranked hometown rumble with Carl Johanneson next week.

A place in the IBF’s top 50 and the organisation’s International lightweight title will be up-for-grabs when Gethin goes up against Leeds’ Johanneson

It's been moved to Warrens show the same weekend.

Good fight though and I expect Gethin to wear Carl down and stop him rounds 6-9.

I think Martin Gethin is a great guy and he should outwork Carl. I may get a ticket actually if there are any going.

It's not on walsall show. Pretty sure its on the burns v Mitchell now. Not 100% though.

was going to that show but looks weak without that fight on to top the bill. wonder if the show will still go ahead that could be 2 of pj and erroll shows off in 2 weeks
