Got to say Sky on this. Hatton will sell out the MEN in minutes and was one of the most popular British fighters ever. He is a massive attraction and will pull in big viewing figures. I expect a bidding war to break out with Sky winning it.

I doubt it will be sky hatton doesnt need the money and boxnotion is pulling in the big fights at the moment. If hatton goes to boxnotion with his stable thats going to increase subscribers no end. Haye v vitali seems likely to be going ahead and i cant see that being on any other channel either.

Unless Boxnotion have a contract with Haye for his next fight. I see Sky getting the Vitali fight aswell because they regularly talk about it on Ringside.

Can't see Ricky working with Sky after they pulled the rug.
Can't see Ricky working with Bunny - reason being obvious.
Can't see ITV ever getting into boxing again.
Can't see BBC ever getting into boxing again.
Channel 5 / Primetime ?
I don't think it's a case of a bidding war. I doubt he's massively desperate to push the bidding up. It has a value as either a one off fight or maybe a three fight deal and as such will command realistic bids from interested parties. I think Ricky will look to secure a future for his Promotion Company and stable of fighters as part of the bargaining process, as much as getting the price right.

Is my mind playing tricks on me ?
Didn't Sky make it absolutely clear they were done with PPV fights ?
That surely rules out Klit and Co.

They talked about the haye v chisora fight too. All the klitschko fights have been shown on BN recently and from whats been said BN pays better than standard sky sports. Also sky recently ditched hatton promotions along with maloney who has already gone to BN.

Probably a long shot but BT are starting to flash fair bit of cash, maybe they will make an offer.

I'd be amazed if it was anybody else other than Sky.

That surely rules out Klit and Co.
Exactly what I thought, wasn't Haye vs Klitchsko the nail in the PPV coffin but they'll be willing to resurrect for Haye vs Kilitschko II??

FW has allegedly been poo poo-ing Ricky's comeback but I've no doubt he will be happy enough to line his pockets by getting allegedly involved!

Ricky will want to prove a point to Sky for dropping his promotions, but they may throw enough cash at him and his stable to leave him no choice...can't see it being anywhere else than those two.

Didn't Sky just announce that Matchroom will be filling all the boxing dates on Sky? Would Ricky's team have to work with Matchroom on any promotion? How would Matchroom take it if Hatton was back with his stable, do the contracts allow it?

Froch V Mack is on Sky the week beforehand and they seem to be doing shows every two weeks now. Maybe they could 'fit' Ricky in if it was possible or knowing them, I'd suggest they'll see how it pans out, keep a ear close to negotiations and lure Hatton back if he gets a World Title fight.

If Ricky can get on Channel 5 or ITV then wow, boxing will really get a much needed boost from the British public. He'd surely do numbers around 6+ million viewers, maybe even a lot higher. The people will always be behind Ricky Hatton and he could be bigger than he ever was. Of course, he'll need to win but if Ricky can get on terrestrial TV, then everyone in boxing is a winner.
