Does this mean Antonio's appeal failed?

This is a close one. Cameron would be a beast if there was as 95 kg division. at 90kgs he looks rather drained and has struggled with top five Australian cruisers. Still, I think Green would have struggled against those same cruisers also... I'm going with Cameron for late stoppage.

The weight yoyoing might reduce Cameron's power. Good match up when you factor in Green's age and that he has had a couple of recent hidings. I think Green might still have Cameron's number.

I think it is a very interesting fight. Based on Shane's performances at Cruiser I think Green can get him outta there by 6...thats my prediction. However, the longer the fight goes I think it favour Shane. Will be interesting to see how Shane cuts the weight, then rehydrates, and also what weight Greeny sets for himself...I hope around that 86-88kg mark.

Wow, its finally happened! I'm going to sit on the fence until closer to the fight......I knew Green couldn't make LT Heavy again.
2 years a go, Green when ever he wanted, i hope he has something left at the full weight. I do hope he comes in around 86 - 87 kgs.
If hurt, i hope this time, his pride doesn't get in the road, and he clinches.

Green does more back flips than an olyimpic diver. Thought he was fighting at lt heavy now. Cameron is very weight drained at cruiser. I got green for the win. But please don't call yourself a 4 weight champion. You were lt heavy world champ and that's it. This fight for me represents why Daniel Geale is such a breath of fresh air for Aussie boxing.

Cmon DJ, this is a good competitive fight..Not all of our guys can be fighting for "Super" world titles. All credit to danny for taking this fight at this stage of his career....4 time world champ, dunno about 4 weight world champ. The letters in front of a belt mean nothing these dates, it's all about the fighter holding the belt.

Maybe i'm a fan, but i still think the interim WBC title he won at Super middle was for the actual world title, as do many others, he smashed the champion only to get robbed, and according to Most, Lucas got robbed blind by Beyer, so i believe he was super middle.
I agree with AMWSNW, the champion makes the belt.
Interesting fact about Green, he never lost as a LT Heavy in 12 fights.

CSAC isn't hearing his appeal until early next month.
The result of the appeal probably is irrelevant for this fight though. If Tarver's "B" sample was clean or some other technicality goes his way that just helps his case with the CSAC and his suspension.
The IBO can still do whatever they want with their belt.

Read my post didn't say it wasn't a competitive fight. Sick of green and Mundine conning the casual fan with there bull shit. I agree Fighters make the belts.winning vacant IBO title against Julio Cesar Dominquez at 83kg limit when cruiser limit is 90kg is hardly worthy of calling yourself a world champ. As for Beyer in the first fight he cost himself the win. In the rematch he was out boxed by a shot fighter. So in my humble opinion he is a 1 weight world champ. Even that title was handed to him by Stripe Drews.

Besides the Briggs fight I dont think Green has conned anybody. The IBO is a reasonable organisation...they all have their flaws, some more than others. When he lost to Tarver he was ranked alongside the other champs, and once Tarver won he went to number 2 (I will stand corrected but it was high) cruiserweight in the world. So at the time the IBO (or at least its version of the cruiserweight title) was highly regarded. BJ, Wlod, Tarver and then Drews, Delisle and the list goes on with Lucas, Beyer etc. I thinks saying Green has been conning people is a bit harsh, but I respect your opinion.

Green to stop him.His to slow and you can see his punches coming.I agree Green & Mr Mundine have taken the p iss out of us.

As I've said before in my opinion Fenech is a 2 weight world champ WBC super bantam and feather at the time he won the ibf title it was alot worse than the IBO title. The jap had a 8-2-1 record.

if this fight happened two years ago then it would have been an easy win for green i think. he is or was to sharp and too agressive where as cameron is / was too slow , predictable and not chinny but does seem to get rocked easy enough.
now though green has had the wind taken out of his sales with those two big knockouts. from a bloke who had only been dropped once in his whole career and is used to being the stronger fighter now finds himself with two big knockout losses and fighting people who have the edge in size and power.
you could see in his last fight that he was not interested in getting hit and shelled up very easily. yeah he had a good win but realy santiago didnt look like a massive threat though he did throw some nice combos.
i think green will KO cameron in 7 rounds with that big brutal left hook!
(at least im hoping he does cant stand losing to kiwis)

Green i think but on points. Think he will be far too cautious to go for the KO and with such a mindset even if he does get a chance he may not finish for fear of a counter.
I realise Cameron has to lose some weight for the fight BUT the photo of the two squaring off is frightening. Similar height but Cameron is simply MUCH bigger. Be interested to see the tale of the tape- reckon be similar to Tarver.

I reckon Green on points.
Green will be a lot more cautious.
If he wobbles Cameron though, I'd expect Green to go for the KO.
As for Green and Mundine taking Aussie fans for a ride, Mundine is on another level of fuckery when you compare the two.

While holding the IBF bantamweight title Fenech improved the brand defending it against McCrory and Coffee and winning a non-title fight against Hall of Famer Zaragoza.

Fenech definatley help put the ibf on the map. McCrory, coffee are solid wins neither have been world champs. In hind sight Zaragoza was a huge win but it wasn't at the bantam weight limit. My point was I don't agree Fenech was a 3 weight world champ. Do I think Fenech was one of our best fighters Yes. maybe the best.

Will Tomlinson defends his IBO Super Featherweight title against Irving Berry of Panama on the same card. 26 year old Berry is 22-3-2, one of his losses being against Jonathan Victor Barros who stopped him in seven rounds in 2010 for the vacant WBA Featherweight title.
As for McCrory, he was the flyweight Gold Medalist in the 1984 Olympics, beating Redzep Redzepovski of Yugoslavia who had advanced to the medal rounds after Fenech's victory over him was reversed by a crooked jury.

I think Green wins this. But not without Cameron showing plenty of character and taking the fight up to him.

When is the weigh-in? Given time, Cameron should be back up over the limit.
