Very sad news

Very sad story indeed.

One of the few in fact probably the only fighter who realised there is/was only one way to beat Wlad and that was to jump on him and throw bombs, The intensity he fought with
that night should have been a turning point in this era of heavyweight boxing but sadly Corrie was almost the only fighter with the heart to do it and put himself on the line.

Always enjoyed watching him fight, you knew he was never out of the contest until the referee tolled 10.

Sad world we live in now.

Unbelievable. I actually watched his fight with Wladimir for the first time in ages only yesterday. Can't believe this.

Watching that fight again, I was startled by how helpless Wlad is when you press him and hit him back. I'm amazed that none of his modern opponents have elected to try force their way through his power punches, as Corrie had the balls to do, and test his chin and will. Easy for me to say outside the ring, but Corrie did it, why won't they? Also, Corrie only took the fight on five weeks notice!

A 90s underachiever who gave us something spectacular very late on. Very exciting fighter and a nice guy from everything I've ever read, heard and seen. Sad news.

What terrible news, one of the my favorite fighters who had one of the hardest left hooks you'll ever see. He died trying to protect his daughter says his ex wife who was there. The scumbags were punching and kicking people before they shot him. RIP Champ

Just goes to show that no matter who you are tragedy can be just around the corner , should be somenthing that everyone should think about and make sure they cherish moments with loved ones etc , as you never really know what idiot may be about to cause you to lose your life .
