Yep brother or friend, wasent the best movie I've seen, but the main actor would of made a good Henry Cooper double !

I liked these kind of movies, which were made just before 4 Weddings and a funeral gave life to british cinema.
the big man certainly fits that bill

I thought Liam Neeson was the lead? He looks nothing like Henry Cooper did.
Looks more like Cooper, than Eubanks though

He could have been, but I have lost count of the people I have met who claim to have been "All Ireland Boxing Champion".

Lots of people lie about fighting, the amount of schoolboy champions and internationals I have come across is unbelievable and they all claim to be heavyweights or middleweights too, nobody ever seems to have fought at fly, feather or light.
Some have even claimed to have won amateur titles in 12 rounders!
And I thought the film was rubbish

some others who were champions (amateurs) golden gloves, singer jackie wilson, jay silverheels (native indian) who played tonto in the lone ranger was also golden gloves and chris isaak the singer was a amateur champion. i think the most famous actors who were seasoned pros were jack palance and victor mclaglen, palance fought joe baski and mclaglen fought jack johnson.
