It's either Bruce Woodcock or Jon Jo Irwin. I think if McDonnell keeps it up he may well surpass Irwin.

Billed as being from Glasgow but lives in my hometown Saltcoats, Ayrshire - Don McMillan. Beat Alan Minter and Kevin Finnegan (both cut stoppages) and challenged for the British title against Bunny Sterling (lost cut stoppage).

That is unless shadrach can think of a better boxer from Saltcoats.

Paul Weir was from nearby Irvine (my birthplace)

I now live not far from the Gorbals so Benny Lynch would win that one for my current location!

Im from London. Most would probably go with Lennox but im going to go with my favourite, Nigel Benn.

If were talking from specific part of London, im from Battersea, so its Howard Eastmond all the way :)

I grew up in Sunderland, so it's Billy Hardy all the way. He was on the wrong end of a bad decision against Orlando Canizales and won British, Commonwealth and European titles.

Can't top that, Donnie McMillan defo. Not sure how good his brothers were mind you. Jim Montgomery was a very good amateur who only had a few pro fights.

Benny Lynch. Where I live now, Kevin Anderson! What a tough career he had. I really think if he had boxed and moved more (which he was superb at) he could have had a better career. He was billed as a close in pressure fighter and seemed to play to that. The Young Mutley fight was a scary fight. Kevin woke up as his head hit the canvas and came back to win. Incredible heart.

Henry Wharton. Other pro's over the last few years have been Jamie Warters, Graham Fearn and Billy Wilson amongst others. I live in York, by the way.
