I know i'm going to be slated as a an utter mug, but have this sneaky feeling Audley is really going to test Price. I don't think Audley actually believed he could beat Haye, but he's really in his last chance saloon this time( I know, I know) and from what I've read from Audley, wouldn't be surprised if he won.

Audley is a big man and can punch, has a good defence and is much more experienced as a pro than Price. Price doesn't appear to have a great chin (talking about ams rather than pro's) so I reckon Audley will at some point let his hands go.

So my prediction is that rounds 1-3 are very cagey with Audley being very cautious and not letting his hands go, but not really taking anything flush. Somewhere between rounnd 4-6 Audley lands something and drops Price. Price Weathers the storm and survives and somewhere around round 8-9 Price drops and stops Audley.

I've always liked Audley but I don't think he's prepared to win this and I think mentally he has given up on boxing. He's trained at home with his family, always a red flag, discussed retirement, red flag number two, and is making statements like 'win lose or draw I will put up a good fight', which is the talk of a loser. Being 40 won't help either.

I'd love Audley to spring an upset but I think Price will KO him. Whatever happens, Audley got his world title shot and although he didn't give his all we should cut him some slack for the gutsy way he won the european heavyweight title.

I too am a bit concerned by how "flat" he has appeared in interviews etc and also the way he has phrased certain things. But you never know... remember how much he talked before Haye and how badly he performed; this might be the opposite!

I hope so! Maybe he's holding back because he feels the boastful style has hurt his image, but really he's brimming with confidence and coming to win. But generally when an old 'name' prepares like he has and is speaking in the terms he is using they tend to show up looking like a whale at the weigh in, make some empty promise of war then proceed to fall down quickly the next night.

Hope I'm wrong.

I think if Audley starts slow it will be a disaster for him, once price lands a couple of shots fighters seem to give up. If Harrison goes out fast like he did in the second williams fight and first sprott fight price could be in for a world of hurt. He hasnt fought anyone who has gone out with genuine class and put it on him.

Price in one round. He catches Audley with one good shot, Audley backs to the ropes and covers up. Price throws more and more and the ref stops it.

Audley is gonna let us down again.

thing is with price i havent seen him volume punch yet, its quick, aggressive volume punchers that cause harrison the biggest problems, obviously if price lands i think he could take out any HW in the world but what happens when someone with power puts him under pressure what happens when he isnt given time to range and calculate his shots. If harrison does it right he may put price under pressure. Flip side is Aud may just fanny around for 3 rounds giving price time to find his range and spark him

Haye isnt a volume puncher and Harrison folded against him.

Haye is a lot harder to hit than Price though. Also, I'm sure Haye is far more likely to whip out a KO shot you don't see coming than this huge lumbering David Price is likely to.

Audley looked every bit a retired fighter sat in-between Brook and Khan on Ringside.

I suspect Price is going to get chinned at some point, but I would be truly amazed if Audley was the man to do it.

He in the crowd tonight on Strictly. He's obviously taking it seriously. :KO:

Haye threw something like 44 punches in 30 seconds to finish off Harrison, he's not a 3 minute a round fighter but he's a an explosive, a quick fighter who lands volumes when he chooses to. Price isnt explosive or that quick he has only shown one gear which is backed with seemingly sickening power.

Do you really think that he is mentally and physically the best he can be for the fight? This is his last chance. His LAST CHANCE. If you had one more shot at making it work, would you be on Strictly?

I was joking old son. I honestly think Audley is tongue-in-cheek about this whole event.

Price early but he'll get flattened when he move up in class. Far too square on vs McDermott, Sexton was a rabbit in the headlights and Audley's curtain will finally get brought down.

If i had to bet my life on it i would be going 1-5 most likely 1-3 for price. However i dont have to bet my life and i think harrison will do it in the 5 or possibly 1-3 if he just goes out blazing. If the fight goes long the bigger the chance price will land a big ko shot.

Don't get me wrong mate, I'm not convinced by Price yet. Even though Frank Maloney told me he's gonna be a world champion.

I just think he'll walk through Harrison. I think Price will hurt him with the first solid punch he lands and Harrison won't throw anything back. Price won't go crazy and throw loads of punches straight away, but he will land a lot of punches and the ref will call it off. That's just my opinion mate, but hey, we'll find out on Saturday.
