Gonzalez did very quick work of Bernardo

He hurt him to the body and dropped him to the apply pressure while remaining composed and dropping Bernardo again... Bernardo gave physical signals to the ref he was still shaken and the ref waved it

well he's been on a good sequence but i think Vazquez has materialized much more of his talent compared to Oquendo who fell short a few times

It's funny that Calderon moves down in weight presumably because he doesn't want to be physically overwhelmed and winds up fighting against a behemoth of a Mini Flyweight in Fuentes. I guess he figures he may be weight drained and clumsy.

I know that, I'm stating what I think some potential motivations Calderon may have had in picking such a tough opponent unless he figures "Fvck it, if I can't be the king I don't want to bother." Fuentes is a well-rounded fighter, that bout with Garcia was amazing stuff

I think Vasquez has fought (and beat) the better people for sure, and because of that probably has the edge.

Fuentes comes out in round 4 doing a Segura impression stalking and trying to dig to the body. Not landing a whole lot but the activity is making Calderon hesitant to throw much himself. Calderon landiing some clean right hooks. Fuentes manages to corner him for moments at a time and kands some to the body.

Looking like Segura again. Calderon is in trouble

Great last minute of round 4 for Fuentes, he cornered Calderon and stunned him a bit.
