Recent English super-featherweight champion and won the lightweight prizefighter on saturday, looks like he's barely lost a round as a pro. Real deal or flash in the pan? I saw him for the first time on saturday and was really impressed, only 23 as well.

I have never seen the lad before, but it was refreshing to see an unbeaten lad take his chance in Prizefighter against some good name fighters - especially at (I assume) short notice.

i have seen everysingle one of terry's pro fights and the amount he has improveed is sensational!

this was not a fluke, he is a brilliant fighter and i think he will win many more big fights and trophys..

he was a late replacement fought 22nd sept for english super fether title and beat toy james in an all war by all accounts. think he will b better suited to stay at super feather to chase titles but looks a very good kid

Well done to the lad. He was a crazy 8-1 before his semi-final with Mathews but I just couldn't get on in time.

However much he achieves, a media career definitely beckons afterwards

It was refreshing to see someone good at what they do who isn't better at shouting the odds and how great they are; fair play to the lad.

Bet 365. I hardly ever have a bet these days so can never just log on straight away as I have to hunt my info down. I'd like to say I'll learn from this experience but I won't. Then again, it's saved me from a few losers too.

Prizefighter is sometimes good at un-earthing talent and i think it has done in Turbo Terry

I got 12/1 on Friday (betfred) having seen a few of his fights I knew he would be game and more than capable of causing problems. He had cracking draw being in the top half and was also no doubt assisted with the cuts to Derry but credit where it's due he was sensational .

He along with Tommy Coyle showed great guts to enter late on ,especially as there were three ex British champs in the mix. It's great to see these lads step up to the challenge putting their 0's on the line. I thought Coyle was a tad unlucky too with Sykes.

These lads are part of the talented VIP team and it's great to see Steve Wood get some success for all the hard work he puts in that goes unnoticed by most.

The lad did well but Sykes did enough for me

He seemed quite wary of the power of some of the bigger lightweights like Sykes. His tactics were definately to not engage too much. I hope he goes back down to super-featherweight, where he could do much better. It was a super performance from Flannigan.

Same here I had Sykes winning, but on the subject of terry decent boxer from what I've seen.

We fought Terry 2 weeks ago for the English Super featherweight title and that was a much tougher fight for him than the ones he had in the prizefighter, he won the opening 4 rounds and the last 2 rounds but lost the middle rounds, although the whole fight was nip and tuck both ways with exception for round 3 for Terry and rounds 7 and 8 for Troy, but all credit to the kid he really upped his game for the prizefighter and to top it off hes a nice, polite hard working kid, really well deserved. the kids got bags of talent and uses his abiltys to his full advantage and his tough and game, i think he will go far, most likely at lightweight though, he is massive for super-feather and struggled to do 9st 4lb the fortnight before plus he was has big has derry mathews on the night and managed to push him around and wobble him so hes got the power to stay at lightweight. we wish him all the best in his career. Save thing happened to me, I was trying to back him at 6/1 midway through his first fight, but couldnt get the bet on.
