Hide v Williams and Sprott v Skelton...

After these two fights are over Audley can come and clean up the division.

Any predictions for Hide vs. Williams and Sprott vs. Skelton.

Personally I'd like to see a Hide vs. winner of Sprott/Skelton fight. What does anybody think?

Hide v Williams - just haven't got a clue. Both are so unreliable.

Sprott v Skelton - probably go with Sprotts better accuracy and experience.

Sprott beats Skelton on points, or stops him late.
Williams Sparks hide out inside the first 5.

Sprott beats Skelton.
Hide sparks Williams.
Harrison sparks them both if he gets his hands on them.

I'm going against the grain, but i'll take Skelton over Sprott. Sprott's looked vulnerable plenty of times in the past. I can't see him living with Skeltons power.
I think Hide/Williams is just too close to call. A KO either way is my opinion. Should be a really good fight though.

Personally I'd be amazed if Williams v Hide goes past 2 rounds. The first time one of them connects properly we're going to see a reaction. Gameplans will then go out of the window and we'll get quick, wild brawl.

do you mean strength or power (sorry not being deliberately picky)? Skelton has only looked like ko-ing through volume of punches even against fat romanian gypsies, he throws from the arm too much, typical front on Thai style modified to boxing.
His single ko punch power is vastly over rated in my view.
He overwhelms his opponents as opposed to sparks them if you see what I mean.
But he is big and strong I giuve you that but feel Sprott shoudl be technically better equipped to out box him over 12.

Sprott's own punch power is underrated too, he is a very crisp accurate puncher, and when he sets himself can bang, as Williams found out.

I think Skelton's power is overrated and Sprott's underrated, I think Sprott is the better fighter, but mentally he's fragile as we know, I just have my doubts about whether he will be intimidated by Skelton.

I do mean power, although, as you say it's not one punch KO power. I just think that the cumulative effect of Skeltons punches will be too much for Sprott, and Skelton will be able to stop him late on.

trouble with Skeltons punches are that you always know where they are coming from, they are strong shots but he has such little variety a decent boxer can catch them on the gloves.....

Its a good fight, it gives us a breather from Williams vs Sprott, and will again provide us with some answers as to how far Skelton will go. If Williams beats Hide then we might finally find once and four all who is the best, the winner could look forward to a European title fight or even a suprise world title shot. If Golota can get one, then so can any of these four.

Good match, I can't see Skelton fighting for the British title if Williams hand was raised against Sprott. Something tells me the Skelton camp were very happy at the ref's decision.

Yep. When it comes to clean punches landing it's difficult to envisage Sprott coming off second best.
