I think we all know that..... the problem is they didnt fight the first time around because of £££££ and you need TV deals to make British title fights happen.

Should be Ochieng vs Rose
I'm not sure Ochieng should be leapfrogging Webb in the rankings off the back of beating Ryan Toms?
I know Erick is flavour of the month and I'm not saying he couldn't beat Rose or Webb but I'm not disgusted at the matchup. Although in saying that, I don't think Webb has the power to put Rose away and I think once he slows, Rose won't be able to miss him with straight shots (if the Arron fight is anything to go by). I like Webb, he just needs more power with that style of his.
I dunno, just something I don't really like about Rose. I suppose the best chance we have of all these guys fighting each other is in the next prizefighter
Not really sure what my point has been, I'd rather see Ochieng v Selkirk than this though

Because he beat Matthew Hall the former Commonwealth champ in the final eliminator on the Saunders-Hill bill I think if my memory serves me.

i think they both do mate and that's why I am underwhelmed with the match, i think they are a bit too similar stylistically and neither has much of a gamechanger in his locker, flattening Harris notwithstanding. i can see this being pretty uneventful tbh.

They are both good; Webb is an exciting fighter to watch and Rose is very fit and composed; it should be a decent bout. I was surprised to read that there was bad blood between them; I thought they were both very down to earth. Does anyone know what it's about?

Rose v Webb is a well matched event as I suppose it should be with the British champ and his mandatory. I was looking forward to this on this weekends Price undercard but along with Steve Williams title scrap it was pulled from the initial advertised card.
Anyone who saw ,as I did first hand, Rose's demolition of Vivian Harris will not underestimate his punch power. I honestly didn't think he had that in his locker!.
A packed winter gardens makes for great atmosphere and a top night out.
Not aware of any bad blood ? In interviews I've seen of Rose he always displays the utmost respect for his opponents and comes across as a thoroughly decent bloke.

Forty,
Are you serious ?
Harris was probably the easiest opponent Rose has faced.
Shot, completely shot, and only up at this weight because he can't be arsed to do 10st any more.

Brian has nothing but respect for every fighter wether he boxes them or not but when the fight was pulled off the price bill sam Webb text Brian being funny with him then later did an interview calling Brian a bottle job.. It was no fault of brians the title fight was pulled off the show and said it would be a waste of time them just boxing an 8 rounder with no title on the line!!

should be a cracking fight and rose should get a good crowd in, the winner can really push on from here the divisions not the strongest domestically so european honours could be up for grabs, the only real domestic fights i could see is a rematch with aaron or eric ocheing im gona go for rose winning a close decision.

Rose can defo punch without a doubt but it's his jab that impresses me it's very sharp and accurate it's world class jab like a strum jab

Not sure about a great fight. Brian Rose boxes to safe for me. He is a very good steady eddie with a decent Jab. Never really opens up. he is too safe and because of this will struggle trying to step to the next level

26 - Webb could not be passed for the IBO as not in top 35 as I enquired. Therefore for the British only but a lot at stake with Brian having chance to keep the Lonsdale belt and then move on to European/world level . It's a good fight and anyone with half a boxing brain knows that ,with it being personal to that may make it a great fight - a genuine 50/50 which is what people want to see.
Undercard will be packed with local quality fighters and ticket sellers so expect an atmosphere second to none !
