Why did Murray vacate the title?

Does he have anything better lined up? Or is he just looking to avoid a tough fight against Saunders?

Don't be silly why would he fear Billie Joe, when he has fought Sturm in germany, plus he wants to fight Macklin and Barker.

Billie Joe is a level above Blackwell, strange that they have took this fight for Blackwell, he vacated his English title to avoid Billie Joe and Ryan Aston.

He fought Sturm for the WBA world title. A fight against Saunders would be for the British and Commonwealth titles. He has more to lose against Saunders.

I reckon it could be a tasty fight this.

Blackwell has one of the biggest sets of balls in boxing. As a 20 yr old in his 9th pro fight he fought Martin Murray who 6 months later draws with an established World Champ in Felix Sturm. Give the lad respect that was a mismatch but for me he gave a really good account of himself obviously way too early for him against a world top 10 middleweight.

Blackwell has done well considering his age and lack of amatuer experience, but I'd be shocked if anyone outside of his immediate family believes he will beat Saunders.

Could be a cracker. Billie has the skills and Nick is as tough as they come. I also hear Nick has had some top draw sparring recently and done well.
