I was on another thread there and just remembered about a shocking fight a year or 2 ago between Junior Witter and Victor Lupo in Canada, worst fight ever,Witter with his usual boring,awkward,spoiling tactics was on the canvas about 10 times(none of them as a result of a punch i might add) it was dire, all Witters doing, luckily enough he lost a UD so not all bad cos he stunk the joint out.

Any John Ruiz fight except David Tua.

Any Henry Akinwande fight except Oliver McCall.

These were two men who simply would not fight. Can you imagine if Don King had ever matched them with each other? Egads!

Domestically it might be Audley Harrison-Danny Williams, fight one. Or for different reasons, Jamie Cox vs Obodai Sai.

Lee Haskins vs Don Broadhurst.

Both decent fighters, but they really didn't gel at all.

It tends to happen when someone has a peculiar style, like Haskins / Witter etc have at times.

Robin Reid v Thulani 'Sugar boy' Malinga.

Both didn't want to throw a punch ... let alone land one and it was a WBC world title fight!

Akinwande fought Johnny Nelson. Can you imagine?? Thankfully it was not on TV but the writeups suggested it thoroughly lived down to expectations

Yep, The Law beat me to it. As soon as I saw the title of the thread it was Reid Malinga that sprang to mind. Truly shocking.

Tony Bellew V ovill mckenzie II. After the first thriller I was honestly expecting a great second fight but it turned out to be a real bore fest.

I seem to remember some Dennis Andries fight or other boring me near to self harm.

But yeah, Nelson/Akinwande for me.

Haye versus Ismail Abdoul was another absolute stinker.

I thought Reid was ill when he fought Malinga? Either way it was a terrible, tentative fight. I think his first defence was against Nardiello, which was godawful to watch too.

Nelson DeLeon was pretty uneventful, there's bizarrely a documentary about it.

Eubank had a few stinkers.

Nunn/Little wasn't a great fight.

Haye vs Abdoul, that was terrible. Crowd completely silent.

Matt Skelton vs Julius Francis. Worse still was the fact that Skelton got plaudits for winning that fight.

An awful 45 minutes. The third Duran-Leonard fight was awful too.

Carlos DeLeon was bad to watch but very hard to beat, didn't he give Sammy Reeson a bad beating for 9 rounds on the backfoot?
