I think Fury will beat him. Chin untested for Price and Fury has improved since 09/10

Not liking the talk of Skelton next up.... if he's intent on a domestic fight why not aim for Chisora... clearly not to hard to make?

The fight won't happen because of the promotional problems. I just can not see Fury fighting Price on another channel or under another promoter. I don't know what Mr Maloney's TV deal is like but the only way I can see this happening is if it is some kind of joint promotion done on Channel 5. It is a similar situation to Mr Warren making big offers to Eddie Hearn's fighters, with Hearns tv deal it makes it really difficult (nigh on impossible I think) for his big fighters to fight for another promoter or on another channel.

To be honest, although I said Skelton wouldn't be the worst thing in the world IF he goes on to fight someone at a higher level shortly after, but after seeing that, Price needs to get out of the domestic scene asap.

Chisora needs a win under his belt, not to mention a licence.

He got knocked on his arse by a guy with a tenth of Price's power a year back. 2011, by the way.

We all know Fury won't take this fight - his career is a joke.

Please Price fight someone in the top 10 and not Matt Skelton. Price needs the guys in the top 10, most of them are cannon fodder anyway. But... slightly more resistant cannon fodder than men on the British level.

Fury gets a pasting IMO. He will stay away from Price no doubt.

You're talking about that Pajkic guy? My reasoning is he got back up and finished it promptly afterwards, he has been tested has Price?

Get the fight in the ring mate and we can both enjoy it! The word "joke" is being bandied about far too often on this site.

Sissy sports like football who tolerate diving are a "joke" but boxing is not!

I agree. A logical, winnable step up in class that is clearly no pushover.

I agree about the 'joke' comment. It's embarrassing labeling these fighters as being a joke etc.

Fury's career is a joke? What's Price's best win?

I would like to see them fight.

I agree actually - I called Fury's career a 'joke' and it is too strong. But his choice of opponents compares poorly to Price. His move to abandon his belts rather than fight Price looks increasingly embarrassing.

Aye, that was a bad move and blatant in his avoidance of Price.

He has not built on Chisora, which is the best win of both men. Hopefully both step up a notch very soon. :TU:

Given Price's quiet demeanour I think he really needs the Fury fight to happen to capture the public's imagination. Even against Harrison who usually registers on the radar none of the more casual fans I know knew this fight was happening. I think a Price/fury fight would be perfect for the tabloids, and for christ sake just let it happen on Channel 5.

Fury just called Maloney a midget, Price a plumber from Liverpool and Tony Bellew 'Prices gay lover.' And then said if Price calls him out then he is gonna get it.

I look forward to seeing why Price ends up not getting it.

Not sure. Prob 'cos Tony has always been vocal about Pricey and about Fury not wanting to know. Entertainment or what.

Are people not forgetting that the Board of Control could very easily make Fury the mandatory for the British title tomorrow, if they wanted to unless a final eliminator for the title shot has taken place.
