Rios and Alvarado both surprisingly light. Brandon only 149 tonight and Mike only 152.

In comparison Rios was 152 for Peterson and 156 for Lowther, and Alvarado was 157 for Prescott

Rios easy. Just how I thought - Rios more compact and accurate. Alvarado doesn't land many punches.

10-9 Rios. He has a better bead on Alvarado. Rios rolled and slipped a lot better than Alvarado despite both landing some heavy shots. Rios did better work

20-18 Rios

See Rios haters? This is how he looks when he isn't overdrained, he has movement in his head and upperbody in the midst of his attack.

He shortens up his ounches better than Mike who seems to have to pull back before he throws more.

Close round 2, Alvarado did land a couple of huge shots but Rios did good work and probably outworked him.
Close round but 2-0 Rios

30-27 Rios. He's just doing more damage extended over more of the time in each round. Alvarado gets his big licks in but he's getting outpunched and outlanded.

What a dumbass, so he's giving Mike credit for doing a bad impression of Tommy Hearns?

Rios looks like he's shot his bolt, but he's gone up in my estimation.

39-37 Rios

Alvarado finally managed to land more cleanly more often than Rios. Rios started coming on a bit at the end and ran out of time

Alvarado been doing a lot better with his jab setting things up. Has Rios hurt but Rios comes back hard and rocks him back. The 5th ends with bombs away.

48-47 Rios
