I don't like that 'pausing' sh*t one bit - you don't showboat against a journeyman.
He should look at Witter to see how successful that is for a man's fan base!

He was fighting a welterweight!
He is getting the right fights for him as his am career aint extensive.but he could fall into bad habits v poor opponents & when the calibre off opponent steps up he may get exposed

how would you rate him if he was just a new fighter on the block ? i like his style and think in time he'll do well i'd like to see him fight for a british title in about 18 month but with tv i feel he'll be pushed a bit quicker ?

what he said on facebok
Chris Eubank
Great learning fight last night. Was able to showcase my boxing technique & experience what fighting over 8 rounds is all about, against a solid opponent. Looking to fight again asap #TeamEubank

He's been in with tough opponents no point in rushing him too much.

A knockout waiting to happen. Telegraphing body shots and uppercuts that beg to be countered, failing to put a dent in a guy that looked at least 2 divisions smaller, too easy to hit, too intent on trying to be his Dad who was a one off, posing when tagged and begging to be hit again....
He needs to quit trying to be his Dad and work on his faults, if he keeps fighting the way he does he's going to come a cropper when he steps up. Personally I don't see him changing.

exactly. but they have no respect for real boxing fans. its all about circus acts. woodhall should be ashamed of himself some of the crap he was coming out with. in the degale fight, about the 10th round degalegot caught with a great right hook which made him stumble, yet they said he wnet over on his ankle. as for eubank jr...they made his opponent out to be far better than he was...and he was clearly two or three weight divisions higher than he should have been. he had won 1 fight in his last twenty, against a fighter with a 1-12 record, and he had been stopped 5 times. when eubank starts fighting guys his own size with half decent records im sure hes not gonna look so good.

technically, i thought Eubank was too much in love with throwing multiple uppercuts, and should have thrown more jabs and straigh shots.

Agreed - Woodhall is terrible.
As bad as Buncey was when he was at the BBC with Audley.
DeGale clearly stumbled after being clipped by the right hand. How he thought he just stumbled because of his ankle ...

I'm not sold on Eubank's power yet. He doesn't seem to be much of a knockout artist. But that might be because he's being put in with a certain type of opponent. His opponent on Saturday had had 22 losses, but only five by stoppage.
The showboating was a bit silly, I'll agree.
The problem is, Channel Five seem intent on shoving their head up Eubank Sr's backside. I've seen fights of his, where they talk to Eubank Sr, get his opinion, then don't say a word to Jr. The one who was actually fighting. And the cutting to daddy at the mid-way point of the fights is annoying as well, especially as he never says anything interesting or insightful.

Whose English Middleweight champion at the moment is it Nick Blackwell? I reckon thats the route Hennessy might take him early part of next year.

Woodhall don't really care, if people are paying for his services.
I actually heard him commentate on live boxing on Eurosport once, and he was sat next to somebody who quite obviously had never seen a boxing match in his life. The guy just sat there asking Woodhall what he thought about everything that happened rather than venture his own opinion. It was embarrassing.

No chance for many reasons. Though I would be keen if it happened but Billy Joe would destroy him if they fought now.

Maybe, maybe not. Certainly if his chin is anything like his dad's then I'd say it's highly unlikely this kid will get stiffened.

Fair enough, possibly. I should probably rephrase it to a bad beating waiting to happen.

Eubank Jr has taken umbrage at James Degale saying he should stop copying his father. "I'm not trying to copy him. I'm my own fighter." he added.....
