No fighter wants to go out like this, I doubt he needs the money, he was good enough to win gold, prizefighter and the European, maybe he will feel better going out winning a lesser title.
There isn't any in between with him, he has far too much talent for most but collapses embarrassingly when he steps up

Maybe he can fight the McDermott vs Whyte winner for the English title. Harrison has attempted and failed to win the English title in the past.

Even if he loses he is unlikely to look as bad as he did against Price.

Sprott's been a more exciting pro and earned less than a 20th of Harrison.

I wish he'd do one - he's bled this sport dry on multiple levels - the BBC, PPV you name it.

Yeah, the minute he got up from the KO I thought McDermott for the English (or Southern Area) title for Audley.

He could fight someone like Dallas also, or maybe even Skelton after the Price fight (assuming Price does a number on Matt).

How about Danny Williams three for some spurious title. If Danny can get sanctioned by the WBO still then I am sure there will be some organising body that will put a title on.

How about Carl Baker?

Could we even see Harrison go down the EBF route. If Audley is prepared to fight Ali Adams not with TV revenue then I could see him fight anyone really (not meaning to sound disrepectful to Adams or Steve Goodwin.... but the fight showed that Harrison's is not all about the big venue and big money).

I would still be interested in watching Harrison fight at this sort of level. A Rogan rematch could be good as well.

You are wide of the mark here. He did not fight Ali Adams for peanuts.

i wouldnt be suprised if harrison carried on like as someone above wrote nobody wants to go out on a loss like that, sadly all audleys acheived in the sport the gold medal,prizefighter and the european belt everyones gona remember him for the no shows hes put in.

There are loads of fights he could win, just not against British title level opponents.

hes a money hungry fraudster and enough has to be enough. Anyone he fights at british level like fury will kayo him in 1 again and audley wont throw a punch.

Okay, well I don't know the money of it so fair enough. I think my points stands about the level of opponent, lack of TV time etc

People were scoffing, and being very hyper critical, when you declared that you've put a good offer on the table and Audley is considering it. People were even saying it was just a publicity stunt. What it showed, and those who have followed Audley's career closely should have realised - that Audley doesn't mind going down levels and will be prepared to fight Off TV etc.

It was frustrating that people said that at the time. I dont do publicity stunts. Audley was expecting tv to buy into the fight (I agreed the deal on the basis that it was not).

Audley was paid more than some get for British title fights against Adams and I do not believe anyone will pay that money again. I do not believe Audley will fight for less than he got against Adams so therefore I think he will retire. I would like to say he was a pleasure to deal with and was very professional in all his dealings with me.

Tyson Fury needs an opponent for December and despite what happened on Saturday I wouldn't be surprised to see Mick Hennessey offer it Audley. And despite what happened on Saturday I don't think Fury would KO Audley anywhere near as fast a Price did. Channel 5 shouldn't go near it, but I just wouldn't be surprised to hear Audley talk his way into the fight. He doesn't sound definite about retiring.

When I read the statement on here it sounded like he has been giving it some real serious thought since Saturday night and not willing to rush into making a decision, but I think at 41 he has had his last chance at major honours and earning major dough in his career in all honesty and I don't see him becoming a named trial horse for young hungry prospects coming through either.
