Tyson Fury trained by his uncle..... what credentials does his uncle have as a trainer and would Tyson be in better shape and stronger, hit harder, eat better etc etc etc being trained by a bigger name trainer and have a more professional team around him?

I might be way off here and his uncle might be good at his job and Tyson might have a proper dietician, strength and conditioning coaches and stuff...... just the brief insight I have seen looks a family affair and he would be better allround elsewhere.

well this uncle (peter) seems to have his ear a bit more than the last uncle (hughie). Im impressed how hes knuckled down.

He seems to have a better grasp on the S&C that hughie as well.

Though the thread will no doubt turn into the increasingly tiresome pro price debates.

Fury would not settle in a "more professional" setup. His culture and ways are different to most peoples. I think Peter looks to be the best option for him, he certainly gets him into shape and travels a lot for sparring.

I don't think Tyson would argue with his uncle Peter... He's about the biggest gangster as they come!! Alledgedly of course.....

Fury famously doesn't listen anyways and does his own thing... doesn't really matter

Though when he eventually loses everyone will be saying he needs a better trainer. Because he does.

Listening to Peter Fury on twitter; he actually seems like he's got his head screwed on and he weren't like I was expecting him to be (like for like with Tyson). I'm not sure about his training methods mind you.

Definitely needs a better trainer and generally a more professional attitude and approach to his work. If he did that then I think he has all the potenital to match someone like Price and it be a true 50/50, as it is, with the professional attitude of Price I just think that would shine through if they fought now.

No point Fury going on about an amateur fight years ago, as Price really looks to have trained on, whereas Fury is still boxing pretty much the same as he always has.

Its not even just alledgedly! It always amazed me how him, Billy Issac's, Johnny Eames and Jimmy Tibbs etc could get license's and Pat Barret could not for so long.

To be fair hes made strides since hooking up with peter. hes looked far more like a professional fighter in his last two.

I've always thought this. If someone was to come in and start dictating terms in front of his whole entourage would he feel put out and think it needed sorting out? You can tell he gets upset by any hint of criticism

Being candid here, I'm not impressed with Fury's punching power. My Gran can punch harder than him. Price looks like he'd be able to smash holes into the Trellick Tower. I like Tyson Fury. Debonair he isn't, but neither is he boring. I like the fact that his trained by members of his family. Like a real Pikey.

He can punch... just not as hard as Price

If you can't punch you don't stop people, he is prob not as concussive as Price but can still hit he is very loose, fast hands for such a big guy. We took some Heavies down to spar just before the Rogan fight and I was very impressed with his fitness which was great and he was looking leaner than usual completing 12 rounds with ease I think Peter has done well and like was said earlier you don't change something that's not broken!! Really nice guy as well got treated well
