Agreed looked excellent last night, really good to the body. Eddie Hearn was a bit over the top saying he could fight for the british title already though. Quigg is streets ahead and there's more than a few above him in a stacked division.

Sure he is fighting at BW though?

He's a bit off McDonnell and Haskins but if he gets through his next 8 rounder I could see him being pitched in with Wale, Lyon or Hall for an English by his 7/8th fight easy. Martin Power would be good next up if Martin is still active and is happy operating at Bantam

Jason Booth is next apparently.

Looked great last night and nice to see him in with someone who came to give it a go.

Bantamweight is never a very strong division in Europe so it may be a while before we get much of an idea of his potential.

Martin wards English bantam weight champ like too see him with wale or hall

Saw him box a couple of times in the amateurs but not watched him yet as a pro (despite the fact i watched last night , just happened to miss his fight )

At that time i thought he would make a good pro but maybe lacked a bit of power , would that still look to be the case or does he seem to have descent enough power ?

He hasn't made the bantam limit in his pro career yet, but would be better for him.

He has to be the best under 5 bout prospect in the uk,could prob beat all in Britain bar Mcdonnell atm

He weighed 8.6 for his fight that's the bantam weight limit mate great prospect he s gettin fast tracked to the top which I think once there hell be there for a long time

Still aint seen Khalid Yafai fight but from what i hear he is the nuts, and Matchroom has faith in they asked me to fight him in Dec... Have been in the gym but am no way near fighting condition, il be fighting at S-Fly from now tho.. Todays Bamtan's are like Light Weight compared to me..

At that weight there isn't much dough about for either boxer or promoter.

He needs to get to the Commonwealth title asap and he can then build a profile and support as a champion, move on to the British before picking a few more opponents before moving on.

There is no point him spending the next 4 or 5 years boxing journeymen in 4 or 6 rounders.

Looked decent last night!

I think he looks a settled pro, he definatly has worked on his power and strength, but has retained the speed he had in the am's.

Im pretty sure one of the Amateur fights i saw of him was vs Leigh Wood , whos a handy novice pro now himself ,another one boxing out of the Ingle camp .

Looked fantastic against a limited opponent last night. There was a class difference there las night, but it was impressive the way he dispatched his man and some of those combos and moves were very nice indeed.

That was an absolute insane remark they made on Sky. I was very impressed by him but to say he was Britain's RJJ after 4 fights did him no favours, how can you live up to that sort of billing.

aye popular lad round these parts

He can afford to be fast tracked really, a loss early at the lower weights really doesn't seem to mean a great deal compared to thos higher up.

Hope he does well, needs to be tested a little more every fight, Be confident enough to try Broadhurst now maybe?
