Just seen this on Sky sports glad to see Jones being looked after by Matchroom tough fight for Purdy but good opurtunitiy .I think Jones could become a gate keeper like N'dou.
Im gonna say Jones stops him any thoughts ?

is this at Welter or Lt Middle ?

think purdys last fight was Lt Middle without looking it up ?

Pretty sure its welter mate Jones is quite small .

That's a fair comparison with N'Dou hard to believe Jones is only 26. I think he beats Purdy could be a toe to toe thriller.

One things for sure Carson Jones will be starting off a lot faster than he did in the Kell Brook fight.

Carson Jones is a decent fighter. Tough, strong - maybe a little stiff, but a 12-rd hardman.

I've no probs with him back over here and scrapping away.

this looks like a world of pain for purdy. saw him fight a couple of years ago on a darren barker undercard and he looked very ordinary.maybe it was an off night , and maybe he has improved, but jones looks like a big step up.

This will be a good fight I think. I actually thought Purdy did well on the Bellew undercard but then its hard to know how good (or not) his opponent was.

perdy will get beat and if eddie hearn knew how good jones was he would not of put brook in against him,,

It was an eliminator and Kell was favourite and until he got knackered mid way was well ahead. Carson Jones is a tough tough guy but beatable even with a broken nose as Kell proved .He was a stiff test which Brook very nearly failed due to poor preparation.But to say Eddie would not have put Kell him in with him is a ridiculous statement im afraid i do agree Purdy will likely get beaten but am gonna get behind the brit fighter while enjoying Jones style.

Good fight, I think Jones will nick it on the score cards. He showed in the Brook fight, he is a good fighter and think he will just scrape a decision win. I expect it to be very close though.

If Jones is a good fighter then he should be beating Purdy easily.
