Adam Booth tweeted last week, that he'd favour Tyson Fury to beat David Price if they fought now.

Emanuel Steward rates Tyson Fury as the best young heavyweight and the most likely heir to the Klitschkos throne when they retire, and he has met and spent time with both Fury & David Price.

In Boxing News this week, they asked 4 experts who you would pick if Price fought Fury and 1 went with Price, 1 went with Fury and 2 were 50/50.

YET ...

If you were to post a poll on this forum it would be 85/15 in Price's favour

What is it that Boxing experts see quite clearly in Fury/ worry about with Price - that the average fans can't notice??

They have met and spoke to Fury, they are associated with him, therefore they back him. If Price can weather the early storm he will sink Fury mid to late. Fury is 50% of what he could be.

Booth just wants to instill confidence, so fury takes the fight & gets mullerd.or there may be malice over leaks of his & Hayes sparring sessions??

a) punch himself in the face
b) in trouble twice against the 6ft Chisora
c) almost ko'd by Firtha
d) floored and almost stopped by Pajkic

probably explains why heavyweight boxing is in such a bad way.

Price will win this if he connects with one decent right !!!!!

Which is the clarion call of a man trying to convince/delude himself!

I'm pretty sure Audley was tweeting something similar everyday in the run up to his Price fight.

There has to be reasons why the layman boxing fan favours Price, but you'll struggle to find any expert/ professional who agrees

I think he beats Fury but honestly, Wlad would take his head off his shoulders. Haye probably would as well.

Obviously they might ALL be wrong about Fury, and some boxing forum posters have a better insight.

But I doubt it.

Everything Adam Booth says has strategy attached to it. He might be a good bloke away from boxing but everything that publically comes out of his mouth filters through a financial veneer. What he says publically doesn't mean a thing.

And Manny Stewart? The guy tries to be all things to all men and always has. These words mean nowt.

There is allway's hype behind successful professional rookies. I'm not implying price beats wlad but once he is more seasoned,he has the ability & attributes to make a credible challenge.im aware he could face set backs like wlad did against inter class pro like purity & I think his jaw may be abit vunrable but I did with haye & khan & they got there

You have to be fair and acknowledge that quoting a dead man on a subject he would not have been able to comment on does undermine your argument somewhat.....?

Who is the better fighter. Easy to answer; who would you not want to fight if you had to?

I would rather fight Tyson than Price any day of the week. Tyson is not as tidy or as heavy handed. In fact I think I'd take him into the latter rounds and KO him......bish bash bosh.

Price is way better.

chambers and mcdermot are most definately not experts

IMO Fury's jab looks better the more I see it. While Price has spectacular power, Fury has proper Heavyweight power too and given that one punch is all it takes, the jab is the best starting point.
I guess that's why they're favouring him.

fury is a good fighter, don't forget he beat Chisora, Price has not beaten a live opponent like that
