Good match up. Arthur hasn't fought any decent opposition since being beaten by Nigel Wright. Whereas Woodhouse has been mixing in fairly decent domestic company. Hope it happens.

dave made alex arthur a fantastic offer to come and fight me at the magna in feb, that offer has been turned down, i was gutted when i heard as it is a fight id be really up for, i understand id start as a pretty big underdog but thats ok with me, alex gave his reasons for turning down the fight and i respect that, there is a chance it might happen further down the line but for me it looks like it might be the one that got away, like i said im a bit gutted about it because it would have been a great oppertunity for me

Any chance of a rematch with Miles he's currently without a promoter so shouldn't be to difficult to make.

the rematch with miles will defo happen at some point but if im 100% honest its a fight id prefer with a lot more money on the table than id get for defending my english title against him, win lose or draw the rematch its a fight that takes its toll on your body and for that id want compensating, dales strength is his punching power and im not the best at getting out of the way of punches so it will end up being another war, but yea its a fight i would take if the money was right, dont want to sound like a pussy but thats just how i see it

I'm a big Curtis Woodhouse fan but I think a fight with Alex Arthur would be too much. I think AA needs to have a think about where he is going the level he is fighting at is too low. He is more than capable of winning titles at European and challenging again a World Level.

If he doesn't have the drive anymore he should retire. I have followed AA since I was a kid and always felt when he was fighting he was holding something back. Would have loved to see a re match with Ricky Burns or even a fight with Amir Khan. The first Burns fight was a classic and it gets no credit and I truthfully believe with AA's power if he was fully focused he would stop Khan

Curtis would beat Arthur and Alex knows it, thats why he never accepted it!!!

Inactivity has been Arthur's problem.

What else is AA doing...he has not had a relevant fight in over 2 years. What is he waiting for, a fight with woodhouse would at least get him back on the map

I think alex is waiting on something a bit bigger than a fight with me, if he can get it fair play to him, but I'm not sure there's loads of massive fights out there for him, he has fallen off the radar a bit but if he's on form he's a tough fight for any light welter

AA is done, if you ask me. He hasn't beaten anyone half-decent for five years, and hasn't fought anyone half-decent for three.
