This is complete and utter horseshit, I think the WBO have just hit a new low. So what if there's no title involved, there doesn't need to be for heaven's sake. If anything this 'title' just makes a mockery of the fight.

Just exactly what does the winner do with this belt? Defend it? Against who? This is the WBO who have all sorts of waifs and strays fighting for their titles. I can imagine the winner defending the belt against a welterweight version of Tommy Karpency. What happens if he wins, is he the new 'Champion of the Decade'?

The WBO make me sick...in fact they all do...they're all complete and utter self serving arseholes ruining the sport.

I don't think there is going to be an actual championship issued. The winner is Champion of the decade and that is it. So not really as bad as the WBC and their Silver, Diamond shite and the WBA with their Super champions.

It will be funny if Marquez wins this considering Mayweather destroyed him.

The vast majority of boxing fans detest the alphabet organisitions, yet nothing ever seems to happen in respect to getting rid of them.
