Seem to have a good little production company and is good for boxing fans. But my questions is how do they make money to fund themselves? Just curious.....

So you are saying, matchroom, allegedly etc pay for them to be there and then film the event to put on youtube? I'm not sure this is the case.

I have also always wondered this. Kugan must have inherited a lot of money a while back or something because i am sure it is not profitable.

Nobody would pay them to do what they do when the average video gets like 400 views and only occasionally do they capture something that catches interest of part-time boxing fans.

I agree. When Sky Sports do an interview its always the same dull questions with cliche answers but with ifilm it is a lot more chilled out and all the British boxers now know Kugan and James really well so they answer the questions more as a conversation with a mate than a tv interview.

I love their stuff.

Weigh-ins, press conferences, banter with the fighters and promoters etc.

Thanks for the advice.

I know Kugan and James Helder. Promoters do not pay them to film the press conferences.

They get way more views than 400. I'v clicked 6 random ifilm vids from the last 2 weekends (Brook and Price bills) and they all have over 1000 views and the Brook weigh in vid has over 8000 views. I mean not being funny, Kenny Anderson's post fight interview had 1500 views and (with respect to him) he aint exactly a household name so I think ifilm London do a good job personally.

I don't know about any of their other stuff, but they don't get paid by any boxing promoter or boxer to cover their shows, interviews, press conferences or whatever you like. A train ticket, or a hotel room, is not getting paid. Journalists get plenty of that thrown at them in all industries.

ifilm interview more people in boxing then anyone else to my knowledge. Over the last couple of years, their output has been pretty astonishing. They work very hard at shows, and provide coverage for a lot of boxers that no other c**t would bother with. They should be getting paid, for me.

If they're not getting paid, i hope at the very least their get good seats !

Fair play to them. Boxing is better for their footage.

They don't get paid for the stuff they do and I know they don't cover just the huge shows seen them recently at few Dave Coldwell shows.
