Ooh. Nice information. That says a lot for for where Ryan's future lies.

Let's just get things straight.
There were weigh in disputes all over the place.
Most boxers, even if they made the weight, said the scales were reading over.
When Rhodes left the hotel, he was bang on 11st 4lbs.
He weighed a pound heavier.
He went away, but when he came back the scales had been moved from a carpet floor to a tiled floor and the calibration was all over the place.
When these shite scales finally showed 11st 4lbs to Scott's satisfaction, another set of scales showed Rhodes well under 11st 4lbs.
This messing around was not limited to Rhodes - Dave Walker's opponent and his trainer had Rob seething.
Storm in a teacup time.
Do not concern yourselves over Rhodes.
He's in fine fettle.

Thanks for the clarification, Beagle. Tell us what happened with Matt Scriven.

Bennie,
Dave was also weighing heavy, but Rob was convinced as we all were, that the scales were out.
Matt's team were insistant that Dave made the weight, but in the end the problem was resolved.
Scott Dixon and his team were equally insistant with Rhodes, but as I've said having done 11st 4lbs when he got back to the hotel, he weighed less !
The board official by the way, was a tosser.
I've always thought that weigh ins were a bit of a fiasco but there you go.

Cheers, mate. Let me guess, the Board official was Les Potts. CID.

Kieran: it is unfortunate if the scales were weighing heavy.
These things shouldnt happen and if Rhodes was treating unfairly then it is out of order by the Board..
However I fully understand Scriven and Dixon wanting to see their opponents weigh in at the contracted weight, especially as they are naturally smaller guys.

Yes, I naturally assumed there were a couple of 'nots' missing from Kieran's posts above.
