at the end of the year he will have had a fight every month since he turned pro (skipping june but 2 in october) not many prospects get this many fights, is he being the exception to the rule or a sign hearn will keep prospects busy (Kal Yafai has been relativly busy aswell)?

keep it up i say stop this 2 fights a year crap incase they lose

Maybe his promoter is a tiny bit annoyed at his peers' claims that he's only good at promoting main event fighters that others have developed and built up. Perhaps Eddie wants to show he can also take guys all the way through the ranks ?

If you are fortunate enough to get under the Hearn banner, it is obviouse that you will not be left on the shelf to rot, Eddie is doing a brilliant job, look at brook 6 fights in 15 month stepped up at the perfect pace, now world title fight looming next, froch is at last getting the exposure he did not get before, full ring side special on him yesterday, even his not so special fighters after losses, he still puts them back in there with a chance, as you say scott+Kal yafi out on every bill hearn can get them on, up to press Eddie is doing a excellent Job.

He just doesn't look right IMO. Nice lad, determined, but never gonna have that class.

...could it be that Hearn knows he'll have to quickly build the next set of fighters if he's to please Sky. Brook, Bellew and Froch are simply too few in numbers to keep Sky happy.

Sort of what I've been thinking. Assume its the same with fat Mick and Eubank. Either way I think its only a good thing, long may it continue.

Agreed. Whether it's to satisfy Sky or because the stable isn't deep enough, it's great to see fighters kept busy and progressing with their careers and not left on the shelf like fighters with a certain other promoter.

stangely enough i agree, i dont think he has the power to advance beyond english title level, but we will see. something does not look right, i just cant put my finger on it. Hosea Burton is another one in the same mould, respect to both fellas and i may be wrong. time will tell.

hes got a strange style, a little like Mcloskey. i think the whole power issue will be better judged when someone comes for a fight and he catches them cleanly. the guys hes mixed with have been good at surviving so it will be interesring to see how far he goes. Is he not scottish?

you may be right with your comparison, mcloskey is a very unnatractive fighter to watch, and ....his level has been found out.

Wasn't a bad level to reach though in fairness Rhino, but I do take your point.

I think it's a valid point re opponents coming to him, his style may (or may not) suit it. But it's hard to look a beast against someone purely on the defensive, seemingly even more so at the lower weights.

And yes, he certainly sounds Scottish.....we'll stick the claim in if he turns out to be decent :D
