Will be a great fight both will go toe to toe, won't go the distance, big step up for Farrell, but he has bags of confidence and never stops going forward, Crolla has had some hard fights, so it will be interesting to see if he is slipping, Crolla will be the favorite though, good match up.

Where does crolla go if he loses this? He's too small for lightweight imo

He's 25. He aint slipping he is fighting above his natural weight category. Style wise, in hindsight, Mathews was all wrong for Crolla - who is a small Lightweight.

Edit - Amazingly Boxrec states that Crolla and Mathews are the same height - certainly didn't look that way in the ring... or it might be that Mathews fights tall and Crolla prefers to fight smaller - looked to be a big height and reach difference when they fought.

Farrell is a small lightweight though. Great fight this considering I felt Kieran bricked it from prizefighter fairplay for this fight happening. Kieran looks decent hard to say how hard he hits as he has been that hard to match hence ended up fighting guys much bigger than him.

Boxers height, a great cause of mystery
Please don't pay listed heights any notice, I believe it drove a poster called Kovit completely insane
:TU:

I like Crolla and would love to see him in with Buckland if he would get a run of wins

I like both boxers, still not sure if Farrell should be at lightweight. However, he was clearly still growing when he turned pro (he looked about 12) it is quite a big jump in weight.

However, in Crolla he is fighting someone who shouldn't be fighting at 9 stone 9 - so possibly the best chance for a big name Lightweight scalp for Farrell.

Just feel this has come too soon for him and think Crolla has a bit too much of everything for young keiron. Nice to see him willing to risk the 0 though.

I never claim to be a big lightweight but the opputunities have come at lightweight although i did weigh 137lb on the night then weighed 147.8lb half an hour later! I'd consider moving down to super-feather to give myself every chance of becoming world champion IF the opputunities arise there. I didn't brick it from prizefighter I can assure you that, I had personal problems with my unborn baby daughter's mother so it would of been a ridiculous decision to enter the prizefighter during the circumstances. Dave coldwells a kind man and granted my wish to make sure I was still able to box a 6 rounder to stay active which I did on October 12th. I have a lot of respect for Anthony crolla and he's done a awesome job at lightweight, he's not washed up or past it, he's 25 entering his physical prime and there was talks of him fighting morales in Vegas not so long ago. I'm a baby in the game still but this baby will have everyone talking about him when I defeat the nationally recognised million dollar crolla, just watch this space!

Adam1991 (peno) you would go with crolla because you don't like me or my brother but that's alrite I want to be the underdog the more people who write me off the sweeter the victory.

In addition to all this if there's any comments that I haven't fought anyone, well yeh I agree bar joe Elfidh who had ambition I haven't fought anyone, why? Well I've had 14 fights, captured a area title... Who do you want me to have fought as a novice pro who came up from 8stone aged 18? Look at Anthony crollas record he's had 28 fights and he's fought 7 recognisable names.
