One of favourite ever fighters Mark Prince is coming back as a Cruiserweight. If he's even half the fighter he used to be, we are in for some fantadtic fights. Would love to see him fight Enzo.

He was a hard man but it must be over 10 years; I remember him and Gale going at it; I thought he worked full time with vulnerable people/gang kids?

He's in great shape mate. I hope it works out for him.

The guys mental strength is incredible, he works with kids/gangs following his son being stabbed to death outside school. He must be mid-forties now?

He could hit like a mule, gave Dariusz Michalczewski a decent fight the gap in experience was huge.

There was thread a while ago about the best boxers physiques; I'm sure Prince was mentioned, he looked downright scary; before the bulk, cut and shred chemicals were widely used.

Guys, suspend the emotional aspect and address the reality, Prince coming back at this age is utterly pointless. Exciting fighter in his prime, but he hasn't set foot in the ring for more than 13 years. He's not even going to be half the fighter he was and we're not in for exciting fights, we're in for an old fighter trying to recapture the glory days and failing.
I have the utmost respect for Prince as a person, but let's not blind ourselves to the reality of being a pro boxer. There's nothing good that's going to come out of this.

Keith, your love of Prince is blinding you to the reality. A comparison with Foreman is madness. A comeback more akin to Terry Dunstan is probably the best scenario you can hope for.

I think it would just be a 4 rounder, and then try and enter Prizefighter. I can't see Prince thinking he'll be in it anymore than that.

What people fail to understand PF pays boxer's wages and its £32,000 plus £2k more in this time this is good money. I do get upset when people moan about PF. Are you gonna pay fighters who are not winning a recognised title £32,000????? I didnt think so.

Not knocking the wages the winner gets (very little is said about how much the other 7 fighters get).... I'm just finding it "dumbed down" boxing sorry and its success is killing the sport domestically IMO.

For all of those fighters chuffed to bits at earning such a large sum of money, you get your Joe Murray's ranting on FB about a lack of action. Perhaps I am putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5, but I do feel prizefighters' success is a huge part to why Sky can afford to drop Maloney, Hatton etc.

I wish Sky/Matchroom would invest some of this money on other shows.

I'm just glad in this day and age unknown boxers like prince aaron, flannigan could come from nowhere and win £32,000k and get fast tracked up the ratings. We have to look at it as a positve thing for boxers....times are hard guys

I was going to Frank Ms shows with Erick Ochieng and the undercards were terrible, journeymen hired from the pub around the corner. Sexton, Price, Dallas, were fighter terrible Journeymen. I went to 6-8 of these shows and they were bad. The best one was Fury vs Mcdermot but the undercard again was bad

Prince was a thrilling fighter to watch in his prime. He will get knocked out as soon as he fights anybody with any ambition, keep retired Mark.

not many fight and stop tony booth twice!... he also stopped maurice core. I remember prince well, he certainly could bang.

he may well have a punchers chance in any comeback, personally i would not mind seeing him in prizefighter as it would be entertaining.

Dunstan sprang to my mind too. They're about the same age, mind you Dunstan made his comeback 4 or 5 years back and his ended very violently.

It was a silly fight for Dunstan to step up against Ola... argueably the 2nd best Cruiserweight in the world.

Dunstan SHOULD have been in recent British Cruiserweight title mix and not fighting dangerous bangers like Ola.
